How do you remote control another computer?

thats what i use, itis very good and some what user friendly

 

and unlike the one above me its always free no trials

For Windows XP to Windows XP... Remote assistance.

 

 

 

For any other OS, A VNC client like Bmms suggested.

 

 

 

remote assitance is ok, but there are time limits on how long the request stays open for thats the only bad thing about it

To be honest , I would consider that a pro , not a con . Leaving an open gateway to a system full time is not a great idea, password protected or not.

I like to fart silently but deadly in movie theaters

ya some times it is a good idea, but after awhile i get sick of sending emails for a new one to re open

 

 

 

thats y i just leave tighvnc on when i got to my moms, other wise its never on

if the system you are trying to control has an active firewall running , you will need to make sure that the application is granted "server access" to the internet , this will allow incoming connections .

This is what I use, and it works very well :) I had to fiddle around with my router to open a port so that I could get to my computer, but it works :D
