ishepp
http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=299633 This is all the guide to farming you will need. After reading all of this, develop your own methods with all the tips in the guide. I used this guide, now lvl 54 farming, I only plant ranarr and the odd tree these days, after I ran out of useful seeds. Clearly you won't have a problem there. I do suggest some organisation of this part of your bank though. It helps to have some order. The main tips I can offer you are to use supercompost as much as possible, the charter ship traders in catherby stock 15 pineapples :D Also, do fairy tale pt 1 for the magic secateurs which supposedly increase crop yield 89/99 farming

Sweetncold22
Here's a few things I would suggest... Don't keep any seeds that are easy to get. Such as potato cabbage etc. It's a waste of precious bank space. (You can always pick up these seeds from theives who drop em in draynor village.) As for regular crop seeds the only two I keep are tomatos and corn seeds. (For some reason "sweetcorn" seeds are hard to get and thus are in high demand.) Whatever your farming lvl I would only _keep_ the highest vegatables, bush seeds, hop seeds you can plant. Don't even bother with flower's unless you can plant limp wurt. Bushes offer pretty good exp., just remember to have a seed with you every time you go to check on it's health. That way you can replant em immediately for quickest exp. If you plan to do brewing (which gives decent cooking skills) or you're gonna plant a lot of corn. I wouldn't bother with hops except for barley or jute and what ever top lvl hops you can plant . Barley is cooked on a range to make barley malt which is added to brewing or it can be used to pay the farmer to watch your jute crop. Then in turn your jute crop can be used to pay to have your sweetcorn watched. Check your farming guide for more information. Herb seeds are good if you plan to lvl up in herblore or if you want to sale the leaf. Hold onto leaf until you have 50 or more then sale em off. (Skip martinell for some reason they just don't sell very well.) Your higher herb seeds like ranar 15k+ and snapdragon 20k can make you quick cash so again don't hold em until you can use em. The only way to lvl up quick(ly) in farming is planting tree seeds. They are definitely the way to go for "BIG" experience. (Just be sure to pay the farmers too look after em an then you will have no worries.) Depending on your money situation you can check the price's and sell off all really high lvl seeds. Even trees... if your not within a ten to twenty range lvl. You can always replace em later either by wood cutting or purchasing em from other players. Again it's all about the space, so either sell em in the bank or list em in forums if you have the time. Just make sure to know your prices! Hope some of this helped. If you need any help evaluating what too keep add me and I'll be happy to help. Ta!
transcript80
If you don't like to "powerfarm" (=teleporting to and from patch to patch) I recommend "passing-by farming". Just farm every patch you encounter when you are in its vincinity. It's helpfull to know where they are located. For example, if you want to go from Falador to Draynor, take seeds with you and farm the in between patch, instead of glory-ing! If you do this consequently, you'll end op with lots of "passing-by" farming experience. It's not fast, but it provides some diversion from in-between stuff to do. Also, do it inbetween "tasks" like slayer (morytania patches, Ardougne patch+ fire giant banking), law running (w66 law running + Falador patch) picking flax/bowstrings/maples + seers hop patch) or fishing (catherby patch + fruit tree patch). Use super compost, especially on limwurt roots (mine are often dead, even thouigh I'm 60 farming!!! :shock:0 higher lvl alotment like sweetcorn, strawberries and watermellons and herbs. I use flowers too, because I have loads of seeds, and the little xp they give is just a little extra for 5 secs of extra work. No need to keep them in your bank, except maybe nasturtiums which are used to pay for wildblood hops. Other data was removed when acoount got hacked... nephite
(for all info) http://www.zybez.net/skills.php?id=15 (for training strategy) http://www.zybez.net/skills.php?id=15#S6.0 Why are you linking to other sites?!? The Tip.it guide for farming is more than I ever needed to know. Well done tip.it!! Whatever your farming lvl I would only _keep_ the highest vegatables, bush seeds, hop seeds you can plant. Don't even bother with flower's unless you can plant limp wurt. I would disagree about this. Flowers are of benefit because you can plant certain flowers that will stop the veggies from getting diseased. Again check the tip.it guide to farming to see what flower protects which vegetable. I have never had a single veggie patch die while the flower is fully grown! Very convenient because then I don't have to worry about them. Most of my herbs live through the process while I'm off living life or working on other rs skills. Each trip through my farming patches gives me a few thousand xp. Almost to lvl 70 because of this!
