wortelhaar
Top Tip - An option to leaving the Barrows to restock is to take noted supplies with you, along with some gp, and use the general store in Mort'ton to un-note your prayer potions and food when they run out. To un-note items, sell them to the general store in note form and then buy them back. It costs a small amount of gp, but saves time making bank trips. Obviously if you do this you will need to take more runes and arrows for the length of time you intend to stay.i got this from the barrows guide on tip.it. but when i try talking to the dude in that specific shop, he somehow doesn't understand me, and starts talking nonesense, how do i prevent this to happen :-s i've seen ppl coming in and trading him, but i don't know how, ghostspeak amulet or sumthin? or a quest? help please EDIT:also could anybody give me tips on killing the brothers faster? i spend well over 2 pray pots in 1 trip, at combat 116 while i see lvl 90's doing it with 5 doses EDIT EDIT: oh yea, another question about armor, when it degrades, do the stats lower? if they do, thats not cool, and if they don't, whats the point in recharging them? fine, happy now? Malhavok
You have to do the Shades of Morton quest up to the point where you cure the gen store guy to be able to talk to him consistantly. edit: never done it yet edit edit: the armor stats stay same and are better than dragon. Although I never let mine get below 50%. I would assume you cant wear it if it hits 0. Not 100% positive though. Geaux Tigers ! Congrats on a great year ! chenw
How do you kill the brothers? Also whats your prayer level? Armor condition does not affect the stats. 100 armor = 25 armor. But you will not be able to wear it once it hit 0. 6,924th to 30 hunting, 13,394th to 30 summoning, 52,993rd to 30 DivinationKiln Record (Post-EoC): W 25 - L 0, 14 Uncut Onyx, 8 Jad hits received (Best record: Two in the same kiln)Obby set renewed post update #2: 0QBD drops: 21 crossbow parts, 3 Visages, 1 Kites, 2 KitsMax Port Score [2205] Achieved: 27th April 2013 (World 2nd) Farmyard Rampage ranking: 12th, 50,000 Kills. JoeDaStudd
For the cost saving use the bank in brough de rot (cant remember how is spelt) its as close about and is free, although u have to have done in aid of myrque. Using 2 or more prayer pots isnt too bad. Just make sure u have the best spell u can use on for the melee brothers and karils (Slayer dart is great for repeat visits). rft
you might want to get your prayer up if you want to avoid using loads of prayer pots. I use 0-2 doses per trip at 69 prayer and it saves me a bundle. If you are going to recharge your prayer after each run, then a house teleport+canafis portal is the way to do runs fast. Make sure that you have done the myreque quests so that you can get through the swamp fast too. Shades of mortton is very useful if you want to unnote supplies from the general store (although with the burgh de rott bank nearby, its probably not worth it) With regards to killing the brothers fast, make sure that you use a good mage spell on all the brothers except ahrim, slayer dart is best. Kill ahrim using ranged weaponry. the stats on the barrows items remains the same until they totally degrade, at which point you cannot wear them anymore. Best Barrows Chest: guth skirt, dh helm, dh axe, racks, gp (23/08/06); best tt reward: robin, guthix helm, guthix legs, nats, rune legs
Berrakus
And when you do Shades of Morton, make sure you use Permanent Serum (I think it is called Serum 208 now) on the General Store owner to permanently cure him. Otherwise you will have to use Serum 207 on him every time. Dragon Drops - 10 Meds, 9 Legs, 5 Skirts, 2 Left HalfPM me to have any potions made or crafting done

Robert_Rdam
Do Barrows quicker? Do it a lot, so you get the hang of it. Do slayer dart in full rune (slayer dart doesn't need mage bonus) so you can take more pots and food so more runs, and take a bow and Black dhide body with the best arrows you can get (over 70 range you'll hit enough) Melee, well that's easy, just get a scimitar/whip This is my setup. The green/blue-ish is rune kite, painted to guthix. I don't take all (4) dosed Prayer Pots, because I somtimes don't get hit by Verac, and when opening the chest I can make space by making the (3) pots (4) pots  Hope its usefull.
