7 months ago, shoulen m0nk lured me for everything. If you know anything about him, pm me.

lol that was a good story but his eyesight must be poor... it's a well known fact that mods only drop garages on players.

i heard that ss was safe, and they don't use keyloggers, but for the sake of it, don't use it because its against jagex's rules and because you don't want to lose your account

Retired from runescape. I will be on every now and then though. :)

Um, I don't believe it's against Jagex's rules at all. I know RScommunity allows them to talk about it and I'm sure they wouldn't it if were. I believe Tip.It does not want us to because Jagex doesn't like the client.

The only rules that I found that it could break are:

What type of third party software counts as an unfair advantage?

This includes, but is not limited to the following 3rd party programs:

* Programs that attempt to communicate directly with the RuneScape game worlds.

* Programs that monitor, modify or decrypt the communications between the RuneScape client and the RuneScape worlds.

* Programs that generate input to the RuneScape client. This includes programs that automatically move the mouse pointer or generate mouse clicks or key presses.

* Modified versions of the RuneScape client. Reverse engineering the RuneScape client is strictly prohibited. Using a modified version of the RuneScape client is not permitted.

But from my knowledge it does not break any of these rules.

actually useing a 3rd party client isnt breaking a rule as long as it doesnt give you an unfair advantage (macroes, autoers, mutations ect) or doesnt block advertisemnts on free-to-play. it only strongly recommends you don't have one as 90% of them have keyloggers

iv heard from reliable sources its not illegal, it gives no adcantages, it is like having more than one IE window open at a time. It dosnt change anything in the game, simply allows you to access available information outside of the game itself.

There is actually 1 problem with it. There are options in which for F2P players can hide the ads, so >_<.

this is probably going to get locked, but i think third party clients should be legal. it has a lot of useful tools like chat, highscores, note pad, calcs what more can you ask for? id like a reason for them being illegal, besides hiding the ads on f2p, which means it should be legal for p2p

Come to #tip-it on Swift IRC, if you're cool

mr strider should simply give his coding to jagex, so they can put it on their client, so SS becomes both legal and safe

Back by popular demand!

And I guess I just wanted to tell you, as the light starts to fade, that you aree the reason, that I am not afraid, and I guess I just wanted to mention, as the heavens will fall, that we will be together soon if we will be anything at all.

i dont believe ss lets you hide the ads. But i cant speak for other things.

Err I use SS and I know you can.

Just maximize the window, open your internal tools and move the applet up. Then it looks like a member's client with no ads showing. I don't know if they still load or not, but you can't see them. But since I'm members it doesn't really matter :XD: .
