October 12, 200619 yr Author ok is it just me or is the tree reflecting, in the GRASS? :-k Shadow, from the moon :) Protect the Light...
October 12, 200619 yr I love it except for the castle and the moat =D> Good Job, Love the sky in particular :D
October 12, 200619 yr Author Thanks all, Just made (another :P) edit to the first post... Protect the Light...
October 12, 200619 yr I know you've said this is finished, but it just seems a shame you've neglected the background, I would have added so much more.. Here's an example, just sketched in some scenery. Remember you're perspective.. Two other things, a lot of this is very blurry, at one point did you save it as a JPG? last point is, the arrows look very short for that bow.. :-k
October 12, 200619 yr Author Blurry yes, I did that to make it look real. Apparently that was not a good idea. I know my perspective was off alot. I could really use some help in that area. (with actual graphics aswell) Thanks alot for the tip. And the image, I might start back and make this sig better some time. Protect the Light...
October 12, 200619 yr Author wat program u used? nice stars btw Paint/Photoshop EVERYTHING is pixeled. I used photoshop to add a bit of blur, and make it blend a bit more. Protect the Light...
October 12, 200619 yr http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-aliasing thats what AA is for, if you're creating pixel art you should at some point learn it, but it doesn't mean you have to use it on everything, only were you as an artist feels it needs to look smoother. Here's a quick face using simple AA. Using it too much may just make it look too blurry. Some great tuts on http://www.spriteart.com/main.html, St0ven has AA tips.
October 12, 200619 yr Author Thanks. But back to sigs that look real. I only wanted to see if I could pull off a decent pixel sig on my first try. Well.. I guess it's decent. =S I am currently working on a final fantasy sig, hope to get a rate from you. Protect the Light...
October 12, 200619 yr AA isn't just for cartoony sigs, please tell me this doesn't look real.. http://www.locustleaves.com/lazur-mona_lisa_upadla.png btw that is pixel art, it uses everything, AA and dithering.
October 12, 200619 yr Author Then let me re-phrase it. Back to abstract sigs, and using 100% photoshop. :P And also. If I was as good as he is with pixeling, but instead with abstract. Don't you think I could make that look bad? Think about it.. Protect the Light...
