SwreeTak
This happens all the time to alot of unlucky people. By this I don't mean that it isn't so bad, because it's bad! I hope that guy gets banned too! And don't quit only because of this, if you thought to do that. Earn your money back instead. Add me if you so wish: SwreeTak

Pandaman115
Yes it is luring but I don't think it is a reportable offense as he is not scamming you. As long as he didn't do the book trick or some other bug abuse. You took the money in to the wildy freely. Sadly, that means you can lose it. This is why I hardly ever trade in edgeville, but when I do, only inside the bank. That said, I am sorry your lost your money, but don't expect to see him banned for life. counts as rule breaking Luring isn't a scam as long as your either at the monastry, power fletching\woodcutting, or really are lagging. Esh
Reading Jagex rules it is item scamming. From there site, i'm paraprasing. Misleading players by providing false or inaccurate information, for your own personal gain is scamming. Is there anyone that really thinks that someone that practices luring has the intent of actually selling the item that they are advertising? The guy broke the rule when he said he had armor for sale (giving false information for own personal gain). Now if someone else attacked him then it could be said that no rule was violated as the person that was going to make the sale didn't actually attack so you really can't prove that his intent was bad. Personally, there should be a big WT? if someone want to trade in the wild. There is no reason why an honest person wanting to trade an item would not be willing to do it in the safe area of edgeville. While myself and others may be smart enough not to fall to these stupid tricks not everyone has been exposed to the real life facts of life. Hopfully the original poster has learned from his mistake (just remember, trick me once same on you, trick me twice shame on me).
