Immastinky
I got a notice that my guthans body effectiveness was reduced by 50%. Is there a way to recharge this?
Allmonkey
The stats don't go down as it gets lower (if you didn't know), but anway to recharge it talk to Bob (the axe guy in lumbridge) or a couple other people (I don't remember them all right now) and it will cost 90k if you bring the body down to 0. zyrm
all barrows equipment, including guthans, degrades while you use it in combat when it degrades to 0 it can no longer be used and must be taken to bob in lumny to be repaired, full repair cost for any barrows set is 360k if it was at 0 you can get it repaired no matter what degradation lvl it is at i believe evrey 1500 minutes of use it degrades to 0 [omg] who cares if its nerfed or fixed.... you people will argue over the color of a green apple if it was a topic on this fourm god. primadog
as an alternative, if you have a high smithing level, you can use a armor repair stand in someone's house and save some gp. All I learned in life, I learned on Tip.it
pole_fuka
thats 15 hours of use and it will completely degrade to zero

chenw
Just to say this once more : Degrading here has NOTHING to do with the stats of the armor. So 100 has the same stats as 25. It only tells you approximately whats the proportion of time you have left before you have to repair it. However the overall price of the repairs is independent of the frequency you repair it. If you use the armor for 15 hours (the time it takes a fully repaired barrow piece to degrade to 0 with no repair), it will cost the same if you repair it once or 1000 times. 6,924th to 30 hunting, 13,394th to 30 summoning, 52,993rd to 30 DivinationKiln Record (Post-EoC): W 25 - L 0, 14 Uncut Onyx, 8 Jad hits received (Best record: Two in the same kiln)Obby set renewed post update #2: 0QBD drops: 21 crossbow parts, 3 Visages, 1 Kites, 2 KitsMax Port Score [2205] Achieved: 27th April 2013 (World 2nd) Farmyard Rampage ranking: 12th, 50,000 Kills. game_proffy
Can someone give me some numbers on how does smithing level reduce price? I soon get 60 smithing. How many per cent price drop is that?
Malhavok
You can get your armour repaired by Bob in Lumbridge, Dunstan in Burthorpe, the Tindel in Port Khazard or the Squire on the Void Knights outpost. I may be mistaken on this, but I think I remember reading that 99 smithing gives 50% discount. Your discount is your smithing /2 rounded up. So my Smithing is 68, so my discount is 34%. Don't quote me on this though. Geaux Tigers ! Congrats on a great year !
