Learning proper anatomy will improve your style, I guarantee it.

I don't know about anyone else, but when a thread contains an external link, especially to something as slow as deviant art, I don't click it.

Could you maybe elaborate and tell me what's wrong, instead of leaving a vague blanket statement and then expect me to instantly find everything that's off?

second, where your arm meets your shoulder is looking funky, its hard to tell exactly how that works.

 

 

 

also watch the length of your upper arm versus the length of the forearm, your forearm is either too long or the other one too small.

 

 

 

its not entirely easy to tell though, the pic is rather low quality and he IS covered in a trenchcoat so there isnt much anatomy to look at.

I'll just ignore that since you obviously haven't been around as long as I have. I'm well aware that very little that doesn't have Runescape or a render or any other popular art style gets very few comments.

There's a world of difference between Godslayer's handwaving comments and ones like Keiphus, which are actually helpful.

zon, its a runescape forum, being here longer than i have doesnt mean anything. i dont even come here for runescape - i played it for awhile whne i came here (i came for pixels originally) now i come for tags and stuff. i do simple website layout and stuff like that also, but none of it is worth posting. just because people dont like certain styles of art, like i dont like that 1, doesnt mean its bad, or u should think ppl r ignorant foos for lack of a better explanation. also, have u seen modern art? its like.... 3 lines on a blank canvas and it sells for millions - tastes change, maybe thats y i dont like the thing uve done i dno.

I would have been specific, if I thought that was what you needed. Theres a differerance between simply not understanding anatomy and screwing a few things up. If I thought you had a better understanding of anatomy in general, then I would've pointed out rendering errors, however, I believe your problem is something that I cannot solve but can inform you of so that you can.

very nice, the arm holding the pistol, loks like it is angled to sharply, it looks kind of un natural to me, the shoes, look a little like clown shoes. The background does not look like it matches as well as it could, I am assuming it is painted, or brushed? it is overall a very nice epice, and I am a fan of your work :)
