tttia
I enjoy numbers 2 and 4, but it might just be that they are more generally attractive ppl lol. There is some obvious sign of brushing, no doubt, but perhaps simply saying brushed photos would have been best. Ah well, I assumed when you said mostly brushing that it wasn't all brushing. I prefer the rs related signatures myself, but if that is all you ever do then you limit yourself in scope big time. There are plenty of people who actually want non rs related sigs because something about the chosen subject matter reflects an aspect of their personality. Good work overall, they have a nice look, and that is about all that matters in a sig :).
Guest
8/10, the series in general is nice, but the only one I really like is the first one. Just the way the picture of the guy was taken, makes it turn out rather nice... and I just like blue  PS: Nadril, I decided not to quote you're brother
Azvareth
Tttia, the forth and first ones are 100% brushed - and I brushed a good +50% on the others as well, thus I said mostly - if any of you think that's wrong, then sue me. However, you can't call me a lier, because it's true. Anyway, thanks for the honest input. // Azvi.

Maybe you're saying you pasted a photo and then brushed over it, well, to be honest, I don't think you have the particular skill to do enough that the brushing alone stands as a sig. If you wanna check, just remove the photo layers and you'll see. Not calling you a liar, btw. ~witty
ColAvanor
Azvareth states: fourth is 100% brushed, no photo Witty says: It's a photo, don't say it's not Witty also say: I'm not calling you a liar. I sense a contradiction. I gotta say I believe Azvy, if he says it's brushed.

I sense a contradiction. I gotta say I believe Azvy, if he says it's brushed. Its not a contradiction, merely a misconception/misunderstanding. Its a stock photo that has brushing and effects over it, right Azvy? To say "100% brushed" means literally everything but the font is brushed. So your saying you drew those people freehand/mouse? I highly doubt that. Its nothing to take away from the sigs, they are really good, you blended the pictures in very well. But umm...yeah. Hopefully Azzy will clear everything up. Its either A: They are stock photos that have brushing over/around/whatever on them. Or B: He drew them by hand with brushing all over. If it isn't in your veins, you'll never know. Azvareth
Hahaha, okay. Major misunderstanding here. First image, with Tuomas Holopainen, is completely brushed - however, I did not brush him, I used a stock photo, whereafter I added some effects to make him look more ÃÆÃâÃâüber. Second image, with Erno "Emppu" Vuorinen, is one I used a stockphoto in the background, it's a water- and island scene, which I later blurred beyond recognition, whereafter I added several layers of brushing ontop. Used stockphoto of him also, which I also altered quite a bit. Third image, with Marco Hietala, is one I used not one, but two stockphotos, flipped them, blended, and brushed. I used a stockphoto of him of course. (I have edited it a bit now, as you can see in my signature, made him darker, and altered the text) Fourth image, with Jukka Nevalainen, brushed the background, and used a stockphoto of him. Fifth, used stockphoto of her of course, I also used a stockphoto for the background, blurred it, and added several layers of brushing ontop. Is that clear enough? :) // Azvi. RoyalFlush
^^^ Ahh yes, that clears up the confusion. Gj Azzy  If it isn't in your veins, you'll never know.
Witty-Fool
Well, ColAvanor, don't you just feel like an idiot now? Thanks for clearing it up Az, and here's some straight up technical info. If 100% of the picture isn't brushed., it's not 100% brushed. ~witty
Azvareth
Yeah, I guess I wasn't clear enough. But I obviously meant the background. Sorry for that. Btw, why should ColAvanor feel like an idiot? I don't mean to snap words from his mouth (so to speak), but I'm pretty sure he reasoned like me; background is brushed, not picture. Thanks Royal. :) // Azvi.
ColAvanor
Actually no, I don't feel like an idiot. I still feel bright as the morning sun. I just over estimated you in a way. I couldn't imagine someone to state THAT obvious things  ...I couldn't imagine someone would go blaming the sig nonbrushed because of the apparent photographs of people, when others were mostly adsressing the background. It dawned on me how twisted ()your mind is on reading your message again just after posting mine. BUT. You still said Azvy had miss-stated the "genre" and yet "didn't call him a liar". No hard feelings in any direction I hope....since this if anything is making a fuss over nothing.
