So I was having a good day, got about 50k slayer xp since school had ended and I was happy that I was going to my friends b day party the next day. So I was on top of the world. I then got an assignment for abberant spectars. I've had plenty of these so no biggie, I put on my Proselyte and my salve. I make my way off to the tower.

 

 

 

I climbed up the shortcut.

 

 

 

BAM! 15 damage

 

I put my prayer on

 

BAM! 20 damage

 

Oh Jesus, I forgot my nose plug :|

 

I make my way to the door, I make it through with 1 hp left

 

 

 

As soon as I walk through I get hit with one final spell

 

 

 

boom, 0 hp

 

 

 

the first time I've died in over a year to were it counted (losing things) and boy did I lose alot

 

 

 

Things I kept:

 

Whip, Barrows gloves, Fire cape (thank god)

 

 

 

I rushed back as fast as i could, spam pmed my friends saying I had died. As soon as i climed up the stairs I see a white dot in the other room

 

 

 

Oh no...

 

 

 

I walk through and click as fast as I can to pick up my things but its too late, a lvl 109 already had it.

 

 

 

Me: hey, could I get my rune boots back please?

 

him: naw, i want them, now I have too pairs :)

 

Me: :cry:

 

Him: wow, I was thinking of buying a berserker but i guess now I dont have too, good luck buying your stuff back

 

 

 

So yea, thats about it, enough slayer for me for now, I think tis time for runecrafting.

some prayer pots and a super att/str

 

and thats about all I can remember, i think thats all

What a loser that guy was. I lost the Obsidian Shield Kashi gave to me, and the idoit just ignored me.

I love Runescape, but I've seen the community as a whole as ungrateful, greedy, and callous. There's been only one time that I've kept someone's stuff after they've died; at fire giants, and he didn't come back. If he had come back, or at least PMed me, I would have gladly returned the 1M of stuff he lost. But he didn't, so whatever. If I was in the 109's position, I would have given the items back. People > pixels in my opinion. Guess that guy didn't feel that way. Sorry to hear about your losses, I wish you the best of luck in getting everything back and more. (Your stats own, you can do it. ;))

I always return things if I know the person's name and if they do something about it. There was someone who died in Karil's tomb at Barrows, however I only saw the pile, not who died, so I decided to keep it, no sense in wasting it all. Second was when a Dharoker lagged and died at Fire Giants, I knew his name, I added him, he never came back, he never turned his private on, nothing, so I didn't worry about it. But I'd give stuff back if I could.

I did the very same thing but made it through the door with 6hp. I forgot the nose pin because I had been using the black mask. I remember saying gonna prayer these guys use my initiate helm instead. lol. And the guy who took your stuff...not to worry, karma takes care of everything. He'll suffer the same fate as you and someone will taunt and laugh at him.

Sorry about that dude. I don't know how people can live with themselves not feeling incredibly guilty! :cry: I mean if anyone asked me that I would feel totally be unable to not give it back to them! A lvl 10 once asked me to trade some items and give them to one of his other accounts (I didn't know drop trading was a rule). At first I ran off with his stuff like I don't care. And 10 seconds later I'm waiting around for him!

Last time I died I lost guthan's spear, guthan's helm, fury amulet, a crystal bow, wealth, all of my law and elemental runes... and my fire cape.

that stinks... I forgot my nose peg once too.. I was gettin ready to do one of my fav tasks bloodvelds.. i climb the chain bam i get hit a few times i run through the doors to find my stats are at like 1 :( i had to use the free tele and some super restores get get back to normal...

wakka pm online im getting on in a bit, i believe i got a pair of rune boots i dont need if you want them. Let me know.
