Goobore
I'm combat lvl 71 and i wanna get to lvl 100, what are the best monsters to fight to get fast exp :?: F2p. Medium low level monsters. For good loot you fight high level monsters (Greaters, Lessers, Ice giants, Moss giants, etc) But for fast exp you want to fight frequently spawning monsters that you can kill quickly and that can't hurt you much. I would recommend monsters from level 20-39 That includes pirates, city guards, Hobgoblins, red spiders, black/white knights, etc. Use the Tip It monster list to select some. I got to level 100 in F2P by slaughtering thousands of Pirates in the non-ice part of the Blurite/Ice-giant mine. I didn't even need any food. Hope this helps. Weird_Piggy
Flesh Crawers in SoS are great xp till 82. No food really needed. Currently: Skilling
ROBOSRUS
Ok, here's the scoop.. The lvl 50 spiders in SoS are aggressive and very good exp. They don't hit much through rune and it's around 65kxp for every 25 lobbs

Doomster
The ideal XP monster is: 1. Available: Doesn't matter how good or bad they are, if you're competing for them in single combat, or they get rapidly piled to death in multi. 2. Preferably outside of wilderness, unless you want PKers to add a little spice. 3. Weak in defence, if you hit a lot of zeros, it's not good (unless mage levelling, and happy with base XP for the spell). 4. Weak in attack (or safespottable if you mage or range) 5. High in HP 6. Aggressive (melee, so you don't need to hunt your next target). Lessers are far from the ideal monster, with the good drop countered by their good defence and considerable attack, Crandor Skeletons (the level 45s), on the other hand are a much easier target. The general rule, if it has a drop worth having, it will be tough for XP.
transcript80
5. High in HP That depends. If a monster has low HP, you slay more of them in shorter time while getting an equal amount of xp. But you'll get more drops! So if you are after stackable drops (runes, arrows, gp!) then you better take on a monster with lower hp. I would advise to take a monster with more HP then your max hit, else you would "waste" hits and have less exp per hour. There's a lot of info on hp and max hits here at tip.it I liked the fleshcrawlers in the SoS. Nice iron ore drops, as well as some other nice stuff (herbs in p2p) and I used little or no food to get an inventoy full of items. Also in SoS are minotaurs, they seen to have some very nice arrow drops, lots of them, multi combat -> train away! Good luck. Other data was removed when acoount got hacked... Goldenjkered
Anythin in security of stronghold is great, as there are usually a lot of what you are fighting. I'd try minotaurs, as they are easy to kill and plenty of em. RSBDavid
heres my method: 1. find something 2 hits below ur max hit 2. make sure theres a lot of them in an area 3. heres the math: if ur max hit was 12 kill cows at 8 hp* 45-50 per minute if u find a good area * 60 minutes comes to around: 86k-96k per hour xp if u one hit every cow. if ur max hit is 15 kill dwarfs at 10 hp * 45-50 per minute * 60 minutes comes to around 108k-120k xp per hour this works with a melle and range person mostly i havent tested on a mage the formula i came up with and it works very well: 4(hp of monster)(45-50)(60) pm me if u have any questions and im working on a training site on piczo also [software Engineer] - [Ability Bar Suggestion] - [Gaming Enthusiast]
