There are only two ways to prevent this from happening: -Ring of Forging (enchanted Ruby Ring, lets you smelt 140 Iron Ores with 100% chance of success) -Use the Superheat Ore spell on the Iron Ore Expecting a good life because you're a good person is like expecting a bull not to charge because you're a vegetarian.
