October 30, 200619 yr As a few of you may know, I'm trying to get 99 firemaking. I'm doing this entirely by cutting my own logs. I'm stomped though as to whether I should cut willows or yews. Any opinions? My skill blog.

October 30, 200619 yr Yea willows is faster but its still gonna take a loooong time so if u dont wanna cut them after awhile go to lumby f2p or rimmington and buy them from the store for only 12gp each then light them.
October 30, 200619 yr You should burn mage seeing that you already have 99 wc and 75 fm. Have fun burning money.
October 30, 200619 yr Author You should burn mage seeing that you already have 99 wc and 75 fm. Have fun burning money. not sure if you know, but mages are slow no matter what wc level you are. I'd rather not anyway. My skill blog.
October 30, 200619 yr Do you have to cut your own logs? because then at 99 wc and dragon wc axe id assume u cut very fast. I would go with that if u dont mind the wait. Cutting willows is fast wc xp and you will have alot of logs to burn though. I would scrap cutting the logs and buy the logs 12ea from store like he said ^ And firemake that way.
October 30, 200619 yr Author I guess another thing I should mention, is that I want a high rank in woodcutting highscores. ;) I don't really mind cutting them because they do go very fast. But then I'd have a ton of firemaking to do. Choices...Choices...I got a while to think though. lol. :wall: My skill blog.
October 30, 200619 yr ahhh, then go for maples ... on the way to fremenik, there are a dozen trees there. I did a test a while ago and at 88 wc i'd get slighty better xp at maples then willows when burning between loads on the spot.... not banking... October 30, 200619 yr I would cut and burn yews. After you evetually start burning it will get really boring and by burning yews you half the amount of time if you burn willows. ^Sir Jem 05-The Bunny Drinking Blog?^ Click it!
October 30, 200619 yr I am nearly 90 in fm and wc And i do it on maples. So i get liek 30k WC xp an hour and about 40k FM in an hour
October 30, 200619 yr go to secret yew tree spot middle of elven lands, cut logs and burn them. seen once somebody there
October 30, 200619 yr Try to get atleast the majority of it from yews. Willows might be better for wc exp but they are annoying for training fm. And burning over 100k of them? You'll die trying.
October 30, 200619 yr Not sure why you're going for 99 firemaking of all the other skills available :? , but I would go with yews if you're looking for the fastest fm xp rather than woodcutting.
October 30, 200619 yr at my 64 wc maples r decently fast and good exp i would suggest maples Click sig for blog ^^ 6,627th to 99 fletching33,986th to 99 attack4,871st to 99 thieving Whip drops: 28 / Dark Bows: 7 / Hexcrests: 7 / Focus Sights: 1 / Staffs of Light: 6 / Dragon Chainbodies: 2 (1 KQ Solo 1 Dust Devil)
October 30, 200619 yr do that: - cut yews - sell yews - buy maples - burn maples your logs arent coming directly from your wc, but i think it is a lot faster. No! You'll die if you try to kill that farmer!nah whips should be as left as is. besides theyre the intestine of an abbysal demon (i think) have fun crafting that.
