don't worry, soon there will be so many do x functions that you can legitimatly macro without actually macroing.

Member 1: There are over seven million people who log on to World of Warcraft! Are you telling me all those people's characters are going to die, and there's nothing we can do to save them?

President: Yes. And it won't be long before everyone gets really really frustrated and stops playing altogether. Gentlemen, this could very well lead to the end of the World... of Warcraft.

Member 2: Oh man! I have to get home! My kids are playing World of Warcraft right now!

President: I'm sorry...your childrens' characters are already dead.

Member 2: No........no.....THEY JUST STARTED PLAYING!!!!!

Dudes, you freaking rock!!

On-topic: Runescape will die when it'll get overrun by autoers...

Losers...

Are you blind or ignoring me on purpose?

Even though I sometimes side with religious people in some debates, I no longer consider myself religious.

Probably if/when Jagex sells the rights to Runescape (which most likely mean no more updates) or they focus their attention on something else (which will definitely mean no more updates). Without updates, within a few months, most people will get bored with RS, and move onto something that remotely contributes to their mental well-being. :)

Yeah, but what moron would buy a multi-million dollar buisness and then ruin it?

RS will finally come to an end when I get my life back :3>

Perhaps not the lack of updates will kill RS, but rather the poor quality of updates. If your local business, which had great food at appealing prices, got bought out by McDonalds, it might deter people from going to that particular McDonalds for whatever reason. It's the whole conglomerate overtake thingy. We could be seeing bugged quests and poor matinence in the future if that happens. Dunno, just throwing my own thoughts and musings out into the discussion.

Off-Topic: I got that South Park episode on my iPod cause it's uber pwnage. That has got to be the funniest episode I've ever seen.

Are there any precedent MMORPG's that have ended for us to look at, in order to get an idea of how Runescape would end? I don't get into much more then RS, so I don't know any.

Also, the internet is still fairly young so it's possible that there aren't any large precedents :o .

by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.]

Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series.

if they retire. theres a slight chance runescape can end. but who would miss out on getting 5 dollars a month from 200k players. cause i wouldnt :|

Yeah...Some people just go out of their way to ruin other peoples fun.
Sounds like Jagex to me...

I am sure with all the money they are making there will be a new version of Runescape coming up in few years, which will attract more players due to a better Runescape then ever before.
