November 2, 200619 yr It's possible to get cannonballs for ranging for free... but just by long merchanting techniques. 1) Buy coal and iron/steel bars, and smith into cannonballs, sell enough cannonballs to make back what you paid and keep the extra ones. 2) Look for deals of free cannonballs with a cannon, then sell the cannon again and keep the balls.
November 2, 200619 yr 3. Profit with cannon: I don't know if one can make a profit through this, but it certainly gives some money back - Using a cannon in the basement of the Lighthouse on Dagannoths. They drop a lot of herb seeds.
