We really like this way so we decided to post some stuff right here ;) ! Inventory & Equipment: - You start with teleporting to Canifis Pub, using the ancient Kharyrl teleport - Then you take the shortcut from the south of the pub - You do the bros in the order displayed below - You tele out of the tunnel using Ring of Duelling to Duel Arena - You refill your inventory, recharge prayer at altar and restore your HP using the heal option from one of the NPCs inside the Duel Arena - Then you're ready for a new run ;) **The ectophial is for extra safety** Killing Order of Bros (red = with prayer and green = NO prayer) 1. Dharok 2. Karil 3. Ahrim 4. Veracs 5. Guthan 6. Torag - If you do all prayer bros first, you use 2-4 pray doses max! - Guthan and Torag are push-overs, when using full V! - Everything out of the chest is L00T! elucin8er Posted November 6, 2006 Share Posted November 6, 2006 Using magic i NEVER use a dose of a prayer pot, and I always gain my runes back with every opening of the chest. I also use my house teleport, to recharge prayer and teleport STRAIGHT back to canafis. Sorry, but I strongly think my method is better. I'll give yours a go to see how I do. bflitny1 Posted November 6, 2006 Share Posted November 6, 2006 It's been a while since I've given out barrows tips, but here goes... 1) take an extra prayer pot instead of the +1 prayer thingy, you'll get an extra trip in if you have enough food. 2) I've never tried with veracs, but you're usually better off praying against verac rather than ahrim 3) use rune arrows or kharyll's xbow against ahrim, far more effective than crystal, also use eagle eye prayer on him, it actually saves prayer IMO because of speed kill (that's if you're praying on him, if not, it saves food) 4) try not to have 3 different teleports with you, switch your ring of dualing for ring of life and bring teletabs (home or lumbridge) instead of ectophial, lletya teleport crystals are also god, but can take a while to get and recharge when needed. Also if you have house teletabs, you won't need kharyl teleport if you have a portal, wihch is worth getting! 5) bring a ddp++ for kharyl, you can often kill him with your 4 specs which helps loads with saving prayer. Think about it :thumbsup: Good luck to you guys! Drops: Barrows: 60+ DK: 4... Dragon: 60+ Whips: 2... The DDS is there for Karil, Trust me guys, with dds and both the Super attack and Super str, He falls Somtimes in 3 Specs...Seriously easy, and If he doesn't fall from the Specs, Whip. This guy i used to hate, Not He's my favorite because he's SO EASY. Now, the Process: 1. Pray on Dharok, Veracs on Him. (Pot Up BEFORE going down into Tomb!) 2. Pray on Karil, Equip DDS and Rune Defender. 3. Pray\Eat on Verac, Veracs on Him. (That's the "dangerous three" down, 3 to go) 4. Move on to torag. Eat when Needed, Veracs Him. 5. Guthan, Eat on him too, once again, Veracs Him. 6. Ahrim, Splashy Splashy on you all dayy long... Now, If Dharok is your Tunnel, Go to Karil and then pray on Verac fully. If Karil is your tunnel, Go on to Verac like normal. If Verac is your tunnel. Go on to torag and use super prayers. Now, If Dharok is your Tunnel, Go to Karil and then pray on Verac fully. If Karil is your tunnel, Go on to Verac like normal. If Verac is your tunnel. Go on to torag and use super prayers. I'm guessing this method gets you one chest per trip, which I don't really like. But if you want to improve it even more, I would suggest taking a super def pot instead of a super restore pot, you should be able to kill Dharok and Kharyll without takin any prayer doses and still have some left for verac, which is when you take your super def pot, it works well on him. I usually just use normal prayer pots and normal def pots because I like to do 5-8 chests per run, but it should improve your method. Drops: Barrows: 60+ DK: 4... Dragon: 60+ Whips: 2... Nothing wrong with yours, but This way will be faster and NO PRAYER POTS used. So here's the INVO, and the Equipment. The Super Energies allow me to RUN THE WHOLE TRIP. Leester's told me this is power-barrowing. The DDS is there for Karil, Trust me guys, with dds and both the Super attack and Super str, He falls Somtimes in 3 Specs...Seriously easy, and If he doesn't fall from the Specs, Whip. This guy i used to hate, Not He's my favorite because he's SO EASY. Now, the Process: 1. Pray on Dharok, Veracs on Him. (Pot Up BEFORE going down into Tomb!) 2. Pray on Karil, Equip DDS and Rune Defender. 3. Pray\Eat on Verac, Veracs on Him. (That's the "dangerous three" down, 3 to go) 4. Move on to torag. Eat when Needed, Veracs Him. 5. Guthan, Eat on him too, once again, Veracs Him. 6. Ahrim, Splashy Splashy on you all dayy long... Bow and Karils with this guy.^_^ The reason you go to ahrim LAST is because of his killer special lowers your str so much, and you need that for killing the bros. The entire reason that pot is there is JUST IN CASE dharok is tunnel...If he is, you either Safespot him with your bow, Or Sip a dose of prayer. THAT's the ONLY TIME I use that pot. Lord_Gromit Posted November 7, 2006 Share Posted November 7, 2006 I think you'd need to pray against karil in the tunnels too. But thats how I barrow too. Good luck barrowing. But I would recommend also taking super strength and defence, along with karils bottom. I'd replace black dhide top with karils, and crystal bow with karils. I'd also recommend losing holy wrench and canafis tele runes and ectophial, instead taking a house teletablet. You can easily get those 4 more con levels for a canafis portal. And I would HIGHLY recommend switching that dueling ring for a ring of life. Interesting technique, doing ahrim third with prayer. Can he lower your strength if you have magic protect on? If so, it would be more efficient to save him for last, but if not, then I might switch to that order. Do you have any barrows goals, or are you just logging runs? Because I still think it's worth using prayer/super restore pots to make extra chests and therefore speeding the whole thing up, relative to the items you get as a result, the cost is insignificant.
