See, now I find that confusing. Because while doing that, my hunter level did not go up at all. I got all of those pairs of gloves at the same time, and that was that. The only thing that leveled during that time was Theiving.... In any case, I'm still continuously skilling, so I'll get back to Theiving / Hunting again and I'll keep track of everything and be sure to update you accourdingly. [pokemama 4 Jun: picking the pockets definitely doesn't *affect* your hunter level. I was just wondering if my high hunter was secretly extending the life of my gloves.]

Ok, so I finally got back to theiving, and once again, I kept count of how many failed pickpockets I got before my gloves wore out. If I counted correctly, it was, again, 63. I leveled to 58 theiving about halfway through, and I might have missed getting caught between multi tasking with homework and thieving. So, I shall try yet again, and edit this post this time, since I figured it'd be best to bump this with a new post so you all know to check it. :) I'll have more information in a bit. Edit: I just used another set, and again, it was 63 failed pickpockets. Since it appears that it is not 3 for every level, I will continue to count as I level to 59 and 60 etc. and I'll keep you updated on each. Edit 2: I leveled to level 59 theiving about half way through my gloves wearing out, but again, I got a total of 63 failed pickpockets. So, I believe that might be the max. I will start counting again once I hit 60 theiving. Edit 3: This will probably my final update. I hit 60 theiving and started counting on a new set of gloves, and, yet again, I got 63 failed pickpockets. So, I believe it depends on levels up until level 57, which then it is a steady 63 each time. *Note* This was all done on Ardy Knights, I don't know if this would affect the outcome in any way.

I support, the constant flickering on the screen 1) hurts my eyes, 2) makes it very distracting to find the correct spell.

Eh, well, seems that no one reads / is going to read this, but I'll update it today anyways. Today was a pretty bad day for the whole 1500 total goal. Seeing as I only leveled once. I decided today that i was going to try and level farming to 30, this would get all my skills ranked, and get me to my goal of 1500... I completely forgot how slow it was... That, and having to start over (getting all the things to pay the farmer with to watch my crops) since I lost all of that back in October when someone I know IRL hacked me... I believe I am going to level fishing AND cooking before I even make it to 27 farming... Oh well, I'll take any levels I can get. I also figured out what I am going to do goal wise after I'm done with this 1500 total thing. I'm gonna go for the fire cape, ooooo, ahhhhh. Yea, with my levels in range and mage atm, it's impossible, so, after I'm done with 1500 total, i'm going to mine close to 4k of iron, smith them ALL into iron knives, and range Dust Devils for a while (hopefully to 80 range). Then, I'll do Regicide and Roaving and get a crystal bow. Then I'll be RCing 6k nats for 54 RC, and make enough laws to get me to 82 magic. Then, it will be off for the fire cape... Like I said in the last post, this is going to be a very tedious next month or so :?. Ah well, nothing I can't handle.... I hope :-# :shock: . Wish me luck. Ello, I'm Avatar. I figured since I'm constantly on the forums now aday's a might as well make a blog to help occupy my time doing the tedious things I'm about to embark on in RuneScape. Let's see... Well, I started playing RuneScape a little over 2 years ago. I was F2P for a year, and then got P2P. I'm currently 100 cmb, and working on a new goal of 1500 total level. That, is mainly going to be what this blog is on for the next couple of days. After I reach my goal of 1500 total, I'm going to use the 1.1k dragon bones I have in my bank to get to 70 prayer & 101 combat. Then, I shall start the steps to getting a fire cape! So, as you can see, this is going to be a very... long, to say the least, next month or so for me. I'll update this every day, and gladly talk with any that wish to talk with me! Oh, and another thing. Although Swift Switch is temorarily banned, I know that most people still use the IRC of it or, connect to swift.irc through mIRC. I had read some posts stating that the gloves of silence wear out after a while / certin amount of failed pickpockets. I just used a set of mine, and I was caught 60 times before they ran out. So, I shall be trying this again, and seeing how many times I can get caught before they run out again, I will edit it in once I get it. (This will be after dinner). I hope this helps. Edit: I just used my second pair of gloves. This time, I counted 63 failed pickpockets before they wore out. But, I leveled to 57 theiving after my 59th failed pickpocket. So, maybe they wear out accourding to level? I don't know, I will continue to theive and use my gloves, and keep you updated after every set wares out. If you don't want / need this information, PM me in game, or on this, and I will not update it. Edit 2: Just wore out another set. This was also 63 failed attempts. So, I'm thinking that it goes by level. Once I hit 58, I'll see if it is 66 attempts and so on. I love PC and a round of CW every now and then. I love, and always use Tip.It (have even made a few corrections to the site) (come to think of it, most of my posts but maybe 2 excluding this, are non corrections). And yea, thats about it. done barrows 11 times... best thing would probably be the 1.9k and 200 deaths i got... only barrows type drop out of them would be 37 bolt racks... ha

i enjoyed this weeks article just like all the rest. i would have to agree with the new f2p quests. and good luck on desert treasure :) i was planning on doing it this weekend as well, but since i'm low on homework, i think i'll start. and i've seen a level 40 in full ghost robes... if he can manage, i'm sure you can. but once again, good luck :)

great article as always, and i would have to whole heartedly agree. the only reason i level most of my skills is for total level anymore, this being the ones that i actually think matter (which is why i'm only 1330 total). but new armor, prayer and wepons for those who are at a higher level would really make it worth paying that 5 dollars a month. i mean, at some points i have found it more entertaining to hang out at varrok wall in free worlds than doing things in members. so yea, good article, and i hope the take notice of it eventually. keep up the good work, oh, and i hope you enjoyed your vacation!
