Question about abyss and slayer.

My friend told me you don't need 85 slayer to kill abbyssal demons.Well i want to know if the abyss is in the wilderness and people can kill you beacuse i've heard of abyss pkers.

Once you're in that abyss, people cannot pk you. I don't think there are any abyssal demons in that abyss area anyways.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You can only find them at the Slayer tower north of Canifis or theA L R plane of Fairy Ring network.

The abyss in the wilderness is mainly used for faster, more risky runecrafting or pking outside the abyss. It is only possible to fight abyssal demons located at the tower mentioned above and can be fought with under 85 slayer with the help of an evil stew (creatable once you reach to the point of Evil Dave in Recipe of Disaster quest but stew effects are random - explore the knowledge base for more answers :wink: ) or the Wild pie which gives a temporary 5+ slayer and +4 range 8-)

Well, you can also kill Abyssal Demons in a specific quasi-abbyssal area, reachable only with the Fairy Rings method. You can find all the other Abbyssal Creatures there, but without getting skulled or your prayer drained (great for retrieving pouches).

All these replies have been helpfull but i don't understnad y u need 85 slayer to kill abbysal demons.Will they only die if you have 85 slayer or something?

Yes. I think you can attack them with out 85 slayer. But you hit zeros. Thefore you dont kill them.

To add that you cant do damage to them, if you poison or recoil them, you still wont get a drop.

there are 4 monsters with abiss in their name: abyssal walkers, abyssal guardians, abyssal leeches and abbysal demons

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

only abyssal demons require 85 slayer and drop whips

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

the entrance to "the abyss" is in the wild and abyssal pkers stand near its entrance to kill those entering it. the abyss is home to walkers, guardians and leeches NOT demons. the other 3 drop pouches for runecrafting, entering the abyss completely drains your prayer and skulls you. the abyss also houses portals to every runecrafting alter except the astral alter

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

the alr plane is accessible by fairy rings and has all 4 abyss named monsters, it does not have runecrafting portals nor does it skull you or drain your prayer

as for not needing 85 slayer to kill them there is a glitch where veracs would let you kill them regardless of slayer lvl. i'm not sure if its been fixed or not but do NOT abuse this glitch, if your caught killin em in veracs you WILL be frosen.
