Currently I don't see the point in that board. An admin has copy and pasted (from what any person that plays runescape can find out) into a board that only administrators can post on. I think everyone should be able to reply (not create) to a thread posted there. I'm not proposing we get rid of it, just make it into a board where people can discuss the new update. If you do post on it, you wont bump it so as to keep everything in chronological order. This change will also stop there being posts about the new updates in the general boards. Any thoughts on this?

This is actually the plan for the future , but we have to iron out a few other issues before we allow users to start flooding that forum with silly replies :)

I'd just as soon see a link to the main P2P (or F2P) forum topic for discussion (after the P2P mods sort out the usual "no you weren't first" topics, lol). That way users could find the discussion topic quickly, and it wouldn't flood the news board.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After all, some update discussions get to be quite lengthy.

Yeah something like this could encourage alot of spam and usless posts to increase a users post count. Not much point really, i like it the way it is.

I don't think it will encourage spam, it would probably just stop people making lots of different threads about the same topic on the general boards about updates we all know about. Then again what Pokemama said sounds good.

There is an option behind-the-forums that you can select which sections of forums increases post count and which doesn't ::'

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But yea, somehow this feels like a good idea, but part of me sais that its not..
