You don't want to range metal dragons.

i want to

You'll have better luck using bronzes knives on Torag than ranging a metal dragon.

1. If you have anti-firebreath potions and anti-dragon shield you may range all thouse dragons 100% safe. If your going for the drops you better go kill the metal dragons. But i sincerly you go using slayer darts (magic).

 

 

 

Metal dragons fire goes in range so you will get hit regardless of your distance from them.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2. Any 1 handed range will do.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3. Karil's crossbow is 2 handed (not possible to use shield)

Yup, they drop rune stuff all the time. You'll get heaps of javelins, darts and limbs. I've also gotten many a rune battle axe from them. And of course, the occasional dragon drop, which makes metal dragons worth your while.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

However, I do agree that ranged is not really the easiest way to tackle a metal dragon. Then again, they used to say the same for melee and that actually works like a charm, so...

well i am hitting an average of 2 dmg per knive.. which is quite nice already

Silver bolts are about as powerful as a bronze knive from my exp. At lv 81 ranged, i hit up to 8 with silver bolts

All bows and x-bows are 2 handed, u will never can equip a shield and a bow/x-bow at same time (i guess)

I have like 400 saphire bolts if you want to buy them, they arnt much better, sell for like 150 each.

Why karils x bow is 2 handed is cus all barrows set is 4 pieces: helm, body, legs and a 2 handed weapon.
