Got any tips for me? im a new p2p player

Hi, welcome to the forums.

questions should be directed to the help and advice section of the forum. However, as you are new, I'll post the link below (found from the main tip.it website)

have fun in p2p!

Best Barrows Chest: guth skirt, dh helm, dh axe, racks, gp (23/08/06); best tt reward: robin, guthix helm, guthix legs, nats, rune legs

My advice, just explore. When I first started I explored and learned pretty much everything on my own. Have fun though, p2p gives you so many more options, and things to do =p

Try a few games of castlewars thats a great place to have P2P fun.

Also do the basic quests which open up the runescape world (eg. plague city, fishing contest, Priest in Peril, etc), the more places you find a explore the more skills begome easier.

Start with making money and training the member's skill.

Add me if you so wish: SwreeTak

Pick a skill and stick with it, or you'll end up like me.

Play castlewars; it's fun and you get to kill people (sorta the same thing.)

Pest control is THE fastest xp in the game for combat skills. You might want to try killing chaos druids for some unids early on for some quick cash. Sell the unids (Unindentified Herbs.) for 1k each. Do priest in peril, fight arena, plague city, and lost city.

Buy a d long and dds for your first weapons. When starting a fight, turn on level 3 attack and strength prayers and open up with 4 dds specs. (If your pking save specs for ko'ing, this is for things like castle wars and the fight pits, where usually people don't have lots of good food to save themselves from being ko'ed.)

Things NOT to do: (lots of these)

Attempt fight arena quest without food.

Click rapidly on a thieving chest; it will NOT give you a d med.

Go into the giant mole caves without a light source and a tinderbox.

Go into lumbridge caves without a COVERED light source and a tinderbox.

Meet people at places near the wilderness for valuable trades.

Go into the abyss with all your armor.

Attempt to go kquing or kbding, or for that matter follow a stranger into an area you know nothing of.

Stake an ancient mage. (Like me \')

Fight a troll without pro melee or a safe spot and a halberd. (Or at least the high level ones; below 100 are safe to kill provided you have decent armor.)

Attack a tribesman on karamja; their poison hits 10. (I think, might be 12.)

Attempt to fight Damis without prayer.

You should probably carry a tele for your first week wherever you go. (Unless your cooking or something.)

7 months ago, shoulen m0nk lured me for everything. If you know anything about him, pm me.

lol that was a good story but his eyesight must be poor... it's a well known fact that mods only drop garages on players.

ok thanks people :D :D :D

Buddy up with someone to complete tough quests like:

Monkey Madness - I nearly died everytime I went to make a greegree (prayer potions sure come in handy, as well as shark/monkfish, and anti poison potions)

Lost city - A buddy to walk thru wilderness if you don't bring tele runes is key

Desert Treasure - I'm still too chicken to find out how I'll die doing this one

With Killer Monsters lurking everywhere in Members:

Lvl 50 wildy elemental demon randomly attacks is close to teleport lever (one to ardougne)

Kalphite Queen - Without a large crew & protect from mage prayer on, you're pretty much dead within oh about 10 seconds if you're me - 30 seconds for my other buddies - worth a good laugh though - ahhh goodtimes

Tough areas:

Level 50 and higher wildy is dangerous (well duh) - mage arena bank is in wildy

Edgeville underground wildy - pk'ers, pk'ers & more pk'ers - plus a quest leads you through that area - get your unids/unindentified herbs elsewhere if you don't like dying

I'm sure there's more to tell but I forget.

Abyss for runecrafting - try to remember you're skulled when using that method of runecrafting, pk'ers keep a watchful eye near the teleport spot

South Karamja - if you feel like killing a native without having an antipoison potion on you plan on dying and losing you're armor. Poisoning takes off 11 hp on top of the attack hits

Happy RS-ing!
