darkmage099
Boston and Toronto are playing right now... 2nd intermission, Toronto is up 1-0. Let's hope they can finally hold a lead. 1-1 right now. I hope they win! I like Toronto, and I strongly dislike Boston. NO GOD D*M NO! BOSTON SCORED IN THE THIRD PERIOD! Yup, Leafs blow a 3rd period lead for the 4th straight game. And they keep pretending it's not a big deal. Did you see what Sundin did after the game? Not a big deal...Of course...(Sundin threw a temper tantrum according to the broadcasters.) Good. Maurice keeps telling the press "it's not a slump"... blah, blah blah. They're slumping. Confession is the first step on the road to recovery. Cheer up. Last year, the Oilers lost 8 straight in November, and they made it to the Stanely Cup finals. Time for one of these: Tor vs Bos- obviously I am pissed about this game Pit vs Nyr- I seriously could not care less Mon vs Nyi- YAY!!! Atl vs TB- I AM MAD!! HOw could atl lose 8-0 that is sad!! The only up side to this is that my opponent has kari lehtonen as a goal tender (there goes is Goals against average category \ ) FL vs Buf- Yay, about time for Buffalo to lose Stl vs Det- Dangit Stl blew a 3-0 lead! I want Det to drop in the standings Cal vs Min- This sucks....if you do not know why you obviously cannot see my sig. Pho vs CHi- see Pit vs Nyr Nsh vs La- see above Col vs Sj- I wanted Sj to win because I want Col to drop in standings. Trix.--quit WoW as of 12/07Thank you 4be2jue for the wonderful sig and avatar! ThurinEthir
Rofl...Boston has only scored 77 goals...And have given up 89...But still have a winning percentage, and are only one point out of the top 8. Acutally, the Bruins have the 11th best winning percentage in the whole NHL. Wow. Tim Thomas is a hero, alright...After 26 games, my ratings of the Bruins: Offense: Some nice forwards such as Murray and Bergeron, and some offensive D as well. But for some reason, they can't score. Defense: Chara and Alberts are the big pair. They're big in size, and can be very rough. And they're still GOOD. Otherwise, the D-Men let way too many shots on goal. Goalie: The best aspect. Tim Thomas. Incredible. Very good in overtime/shootouts... PP: 12th. Not too bad. But with Bergeron, Murray, Axelsson, Tenkrat and all those other incredible forwards, it could be better. PK: 28th. That's all I have to say. (They SUCK. Possibly try a 3 D and 1 forward formation, Lewis?) The Bruins are on fire, 10-3-0 in the last 13 games. Hopefully they can keep it going, especially since there are three more games against the rivals from Montreal in December. darkmage099
Watching the Penguins game tonight has been so much fun. Crosby's got 5 points, and this is before the game is half over! He's great. Who is better: Ovechkin vs. Crosby? Crosby seems to be more of a team player kind of guy but Ovechkin is good too. Are you happy the Leafs won one after 7 games? Big showdown Tomorrow. Edm vs Min for the division. Trix.--quit WoW as of 12/07Thank you 4be2jue for the wonderful sig and avatar!
insane
Crosby is easily the better player. He's the league leading point-getter, he's 19 years old, and he's played 5 games less than anyone else in the top 5. And yea, I'm glad about Toronto :P I was looking at their division today, and every team in the NorthEastern division has a winning record. I'm surprised the Bruins are doing so well with that divisional schedule in which they have to play the Sabres and Sens a bunch of times. Not to mention the Canadiens or Leafs. The Thrashers are still tops in their division - Leafs lost 7 straight and now they seem to be on a roll... with Hossa and Kovy, who knows what could happen? ThurinEthir
The Bruins are struggling, although still have a winning record. They lost yesterday to Ottawa on three pathetic third period goals...My thoughts on the goals: Goal 1-It came on a 5 on 3. If it was an understandable 5 on 3, I would let it go. But the two penalties? Bergeron's penalty-Okay, he tripped him. What about the elbowing/roughing? Boyes-Erm, I thought you needed to use your stick to hook. Unless there's a new type of stick-less hook. Goal 2-Jokinen is just too fast...D-Men were caught flat-footed, nothing Thomas could do... Goal 3-Ugh, Empty-netter. C'mon, Bergeron, clear the puck better! Cenin pân nîd, istan pân nîd, dan nin ú-cenich, nin ú-istach.Ithil luin eria vi menel caran...Tîn dan delu. Thaulsis
Bleh. Colorado lost to the red hot Blackhawks  Apparently the coaching change is working. The Northwest is really going to be a dogfight all year (2 points seperates 1st from 5th.) Montreal, my sleeper pick in the East is playing decent hockey though. bloodkilla87
I've decided to bump this thread back up. Detroits doing decent i guess. They need to win 2 more games, and have nashville win none to be tied for 1st in the central. BTW, anybody like my new sig? :anxious:
ThurinEthir
Crosby = Awesome. =D> He's turned the entire Penguins team around. The Bruins are back! ONE point out of the top 8. And they've only played 33 games, up to 4 games less than some of the teams they're in the race again. Like Ottawa and Toronto, who they've overtaken...Third spot in the northeast FTW! insane
Gah, Leafs are so injured. A Blackhawks player took a knee at Peca and took him out for the season. bloodkilla87
Did anybody watch the flames/canucks game last night? ThurinEthir
I have lost nearly all interest in the Bruins. Until the All-Star festivities, I won't really watch any of their games. Fadfdfd
Penguin, you do realize, the Bruins are like the Red Sox. They start out looking good. Good enough to make the playoffs, but when February and March hit, they just slide down to 11th and 12th place in the conference. :P I've gained interest in the Bruins as times gone by. I look for them in the standings and watch their highlights on SportsDesk, and I'm happy when they win, mad when they lose. I dunno though, all I can say SID THE KID IS COMING TO HARTFORD! Let's go Whalers!
ThurinEthir
You're wrong, Fad. The Bruins are the opposite of the Red Sox. The beginning of the season...They sucked. 13th place in the conference. Now...Almost January...In the battle for 6-8th place. Of course, with 3-4 months left in the season, anything could happen. But the Bruins show no sign of all of a sudden struggling... Cenin pân nîd, istan pân nîd, dan nin ú-cenich, nin ú-istach.Ithil luin eria vi menel caran...Tîn dan delu.
