November 10, 200619 yr Metal drags are 'really' easy to mage, and the potential for good drops is high (altho ive never had any yet :(). Ultimately you've got to keep going till you get a dragon drop to cover the cost of your runes, but they drop fairly frequently. In a little hilltop village they gambled for my clothesI bargained for salvation and they gave me a lethal doseI offered up my innocence, I got repaid with scorn"Come in'', she said, "I'll give you shelter from the storm"
November 10, 200619 yr i just used 10k chaos at steels/irons and got nothing but half keys, i did get a black mask, glory and wealth off someone dying though (didnt see who it was, just ran across the room cos there was 2 people where i was before), and found it, and it did get me some nice blood runes/pray xp/mage xp/some high alchable rune items/rune knives and darts though, so yeah not a complete waste of runes
November 10, 200619 yr once on slayer task ive gotten 2 drag legs off metals within 2 hrs (iron & steel) doubt though the odds on getting them was on my side but anyways :)
November 10, 200619 yr I love them :3> Even if i dont have them as a slayer task i kill em They are resposible for 70% of my total mage exp \ Got 1 skirt and 1 legs
November 10, 200619 yr I kill irons, but burthorpe bronzes (annoying dogs & low chance of legs) and steels (too scary :ohnoes: )
November 10, 200619 yr i skip bronzes and i normally do the steel and iron tasks Click here to see my goals and achievements thread
November 11, 200619 yr pfft lucky you! Im still to get the elusive d drop thats probably why i still do them, just in case :P You should get 1 leg or skirt to about 3.5k chaos runes (i think). Not the case with me. Used about 6K chaos and got 2 d legs, then I've used about 13k chaos and nothing. But I melee irons, burthrope steels. Fire cape owner since September 25th, 2006.
