Runescape have finally started to listen...

Featured Replies

I was on the RS forums and saw some stuff that caught my attention. Heres what i 'found'. Take a look.

"Hello (A person). Thank you for your suggestion and congratulations on being the first player to post. :)

Replacing the Abyssal Whip with another weapon that has even higher stat requirements is quite a good suggestion. If this was some form of a bow then that could also be an interesting development. I can just see the 'Range is overpowered' rants now. ;)

Do you have any more specific ideas for a quest? The more details you can give the greater the chance of your quest idea making it into RuneScape. :)"

So maybe a new weapon...And then i found this...

"Hi (Can't name). Thank you for posting your new quest idea. It is nice to see you going into so much detail about it. :)

Thanks also to everybody else who has posted so far. An interesting point was made about what level actually constitutes being a high level player. Whilst I am not going to limit this thread purely to those players with 99 in most skills we will have to ensure that their needs are catered for."

If anyone remembers me... PM ME. having nostaligia issues D:

Jagex have always listened largely

90% of the updates can be traced bk to suggestions etc, ppl just get in a rant about things saying jag don;t listen.

you must bear in mind it can take them like 6 months of work to take an idea from the diea to being in the game, and thts for like a small quest or w/e

So there is time delay.

I mean for examples of popualr things tht can be traced bk to popular suggestions:

barrows, cwars, pest control, skill capes

They are all near identical to some highly supported dieas tht came about 6 months or so b4 their release

They are always browsing the forums.

I'll see if I have a screenshot of Mod Mark telling me via PM.

I came up with the grappling hook idea.

Darkarcher came up with the 99 skill capes idea.

I Be 1 Sheep came up with the idea for banners. (Now POH banners)

Jagax listens because why would they not do what people that pay them want.

They would never truly admit it, but you know it is true.

They have always listened, they are an amazing company compared to many.

Currently not active on RuneScape.
