longbow or shortbow

Longbow:

Slightly more accurate.

Slightly more expensive.

Can shoot much farther then a short bow.

Is very slow compared to a short bow.

Shortbow:

Slightly less acurate.

Slightly cheaper.

Has a smaller range then a long bow, but it's more then sufficient for training on near any monster in runescape.

Is very fast.

Overall, the shortbow beats the long bow in PKing, training, and slaying monsters for quests and such.

All the stats that philip said is true. Except that i disagree that longbow is inferior to short bow. The short is faster, and better for training. But for pking, you might need the long. For example, if ur frozen or bound (mage), u will need a long to reach the mage. Shorts usually cant do this, i know this from experience.

Life is a joke. Yeah, I don't get it either.

Well go with the shortbow just because its way faster, the only time you will need a longbow is at the ranging guild up in the tower training against the other archers.
