How2PK
However, the way product placement has got nowadays it is stupid. It really detracts from the integrity of the films because it is irrelevant most of the time. There is NO NEED to know what sort of laptop someone is using. There is no need to see them put their iPod on before a fight scene (damn you Blade Trinity, I want my bandwidth time back) and there is no need to take delivery of your crappy converse trainers when it has nothing to do with the story. It does take money to make a movie, of course. :) And the Converse trainers go for the same thing as the Aston Martin in Bond. Del takes the trainers to show he's a 'classic' man. It's not like Converse had to sell more shoes. Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore! Uula
there is a bond girl and bond, james bond is a the end But no "Shaken, not stirred", although the even better "Do I look like I care!?" Great movie, can't say I'm a movie expert, but I surely have seen lots of Bond films, and this is one of the best. The opening scene is just.. cool =P~

insane
I just saw this on Saturday and I really enjoyed it. The past few Bond films really disappointed me for a few reasons that were NOT in this film, which made it great. The chase scenes were believable, as were the explosions. The one-liners weren't as bad, and it was interesting to see why Bond became the no-trust guy that does a girl and then leaves her. This is easily the best Bond movie since Goldeneye. BlueLancer
This movie was awesome, worth 10/10. I thought it's another clicḫ̩̉̉ fest like the other Bonds which I almost started loathing for their typicalness. Just when you think a stereotypical scene happens, no, entirely something different. And when Bond is asked how he likes his martini, shaken or dry, his answer this time is "do I look like I give a *?". Great stuff. Bonus for great intense poker scenes, (that kind of stakes wouldn't be suited for the faint hearted in real life) since poker is a great game. Bond makes a huge mistake the first time thinking Le Chiffre is bluffing, though silently picks up his telltale sign. I was even further convinced of the amazingness of this movie when it was 'supposed' to end, but the woman was actually something else than she was giving an impression of (not giving spoilers in case somebody hasn't seen it) and the movie goes on. It has also really awesome lines which are appropriate to the scenes and can make you laugh. ---- The one with Le Chiffre and the other players after Chiffre wins a pot of $5 million and nobody cares and start mimicing Bond like "hey, bring me one of those drinks too", "I'll have one of those too" "Ok, that's it? Anybody want to play poker?"
insane
The one thing I didn't like was the very last hand. One player has a flush. Next player has a full house. Le Chiffre has a higher full house. Bond's got a straight flush. I mean, give me a break :P that's just [developmentally delayed]ed.

Having those cards and still losing $120M. Still, he (Le Chiffre)'s not a very good player because he must've knew Bond knows he has at least a full house, the fat guy and the japanese one had at least flush, and Bond still kept betting and went all-in.
