I cant make a face on him though. and i want to add a hat on him that is red and black. How do i make faces?

I personaly think the guy is too small

In my opinion the red on the outside of his shorts are a bit to dark, and if you dont look closely, it seems that they are his legs(part of them)

don't place you're eyes too high guys, Im no expert with faces, just look at yourself in the mirror, or look for references on google or sumit.. You're character's very small D3M0NX, and as his skins so dark, your details won't stand out too much so I'd just suggest you keep it simple.
