to be honest, the water in the first one looks the most real, and in the other 3 ones the water look like some 3d bricks just on front of the wall :? maybe some more blueish water and some lighter spots on it so it get some more deapth... i don't have 3ds max so don't know if u have that options or something but maybe if so... :-w

Water isn't blue. Well, not noticably blue while it's being poured/sprayed.

The only thing wrong is that it's too thick. Looks more like a transparent custard rather than water.

Aye, water breaks up into more droplets or into a smooth sheet/column when poured, not a bumpy line thingy.

What do you guys think about this?

P.S I DID look at water, and from my point of view it DOES reflect like that.

Which one do you think is better?

The first render:

Or the second render:

Water gets its blue color from light reflected from the sky... or at least thats what i have always though :-w

Also I think that the water over the bricks doesn't look that great, to be honest in just looks like alot of little bricks inside a bubble... Not how i picture water... if it didn't have the morter in the water bubbles it might look better but as is... meh none too great

just my opinion :D

Water doesn't bend like that, and it tends to be more smooth than chuncky.

It depends at what pressure and what kind of nozzle it's being squuirted out of.

On topic: The second one is the best. The slosh is good but you need to decide, smooth column or droplets. Water dichotomizes (word of the day  ) into one of those two things. Right now you have something in between (water/custard) that's not realistic.

yey you have a fan =)

the water doesnt look too bad, but i personaly feel that when its reflecting the wal it doesnt look quite right.

i know this doesant really matter, but just thought id point out that when the water is going into the cup you can see the other layer inside, like its 2 thin sheets (which it is) as oposed to one solid object (which it isnt but should be)

the fan looks fairly good, however the blades look weird in shape, not sure how really just do, sorry im not any more helpful,. and also the center piece looks rather big.
