Barihawk
Keep in mind that the X-Box has almost a year head-start on the other two. Wii would come in second, since they actually have stock, and the PS3 counter is pretty much maxed, seeing as that's how many actually reached the shelves. My heart is broken by the terrible loss I have sustained in my old friends and companions and my poor soldiers. Believe me, nothing except a battle lost can be half so melancholy as a battle won. -Sir Arthur Wellesley
MThomas
Taking into account that the Xbox 360 has a year head start on the others, I still have to say that it's my favorite. I've played the 360 and the Wii, and while I know the Wii is new with only a few games out, I'm not too fond of the controlling system, but maybe it will just take time to get used to. BlakeDrake
Playstation 3 will probably be a definite 3rd out of those consoles. Nice processing speeds and capability, but the Wii will win popularity with originality and the XBox has already been out.. and if you have an XBox 360.. what really is the point of getting a PS3? trapical
It is too soon to tell the winner. >360 has huge library already and it's online services have been perfected. >PS3 has blueray, the possibility of superb graphics, but most imporatly it has the name "playstation" literally millions will buy it just because they had the ps2 >Wii is a bit different. It's cheap, attracts a different crowd, the news media loves it, and game developers have nothing but praise and promises of a multitude of games to come. -Most notably though, due to its different controller, the Wii will have hundreds of exclusive games. Currently people buy a PS2 to play stuff like GTA and Final fantasy since its exclusive to the system. People don't buy the PS2 to play "Shrek 2" since any 'ol system can play it. The 360 and PS3 will split the buyers who want to buy traditional games. The Wii, with its separate controller scheme, will have a monopoly over it's genre and will likely be the 2nd system that most 360 and PS3 buyers will end up getting. Also I believe/hope that in a year or so developers will come up with some really sweet ideas for the Wiii. I mean, look at the potential... - Advanced sports games like golf and tennis. Like WiiSports but much more in depth and advanced, allowing stuff like spin. - real lightsaber/sword battles, even online . People could actually become "world renowned (online) swordsmen". A bit cooler then the RS highscores. - Harry Potter games, a 1st person adventure where you need to actually do the spells. That entails saying them correctly (hello microphone) and do the correct wrist flick to cast any of hundreds of spells. You could even have it like in the books where you can attend classes and learn/practice any spell from a list of hundreds, not knowing which one you will need later on... I mean I'm not a big Potter fan but that game... would... rock. :D

No kidding, it's a shame the idea isn't mine. After my roomate saw the first demo on the Wii's controller (from TGS 2005). He literally dropped the cookie he was eating and was like: "omg... can you imagine a a Harry Potter game?! *whistle* ...Sony's screwed."
