Roald
hello peoples... allways wanted to get up firemaking fast but you get bored whenever you hit an tree with an axe?? then this guide is pretty good for you required skills: 15 firemaking required items: - at least 10k - tinderbox go to lumbridge general store with your items. trade the shop keeper/shop assistant. then you usually see stuff like this: that's a nice amount of logs to set on fire aren't they :D Then go to this place to start setting them on fire(worked good for me) (i know it's a weird way of setting them on fire but it works for me) O:) (you can also buy the willows and set them on fire but that's your choise) :P when the fire is still burning when you have new logs allready, go to this spot: the 2 red spots are the places where i usually make 2 fires because at the end of the line there's a tree.. feel free to post here to help me make this guide better :D

Lord_Gromit
That's how I'm raising fm, but willows are MUCH faster xp, and you can still buy from the same store and burn just as fast. You might want to edit that in.
dave0293
r willows there the same price until like 100 left? nice guide
Lord_Gromit
There are generally thousands of willows in the store. They cost 12 gp ea while oaks cost 6 ea. 6 gp is almost nothing, and the xp bonus is a TON!
skeroh
you cannot make fires in the furnace place. i am currently burning tons of oaks right now. i have two main places where i can consistently burn 26 oaks without moving. try and find them. Retired from runescape. I will be on every now and then though. :)

Lord_Gromit
And I think someone mentioned, you can't light fires in the furnace building. Here're my starting points. They're just on the west side of that wall by the furnace, 1 and 2 squares north of the signpost.Later I might post a pic of the locations I start at with willow logs. Uula
Is this good for P2P also? If no, any ideas? If you can make over 200k cash/h in either f2p or p2p(easier with rcing in p2p :P), you should go with yews. The time saved is A LOT if you compare to this. Nice guide anyway, although the way you light your logs doesn't matter a crap... I just tend to do some patterns in the inv and change every time so it doesn't get so monotonous :-#
Gin_and_Tonic
I have 130k willows and im burning in C'wars. Although i brought them for 32ea, and its alot more expensive, and its members, its also ALOT faster. I like you guide however, i got 34-70 Fm like that
Rednik
It's a nice guide but there is actually no point of firemaking, At least not in F2P... Because if you do that way, You wont have the wc skill to cut yews at the end and then there's no point of having fm lvl 60. But it's still a nice guide. Yan
Nice guide. I got from 60 to 70 firemaking in 2 days burning willows using this method. More expensive per xp point, but much quicker overall.

Although i brought them for 32ea, and its alot more expensive, and its members, its also ALOT faster. I like you guide however, i got 34-70 Fm like that It's not much faster to burn at a bank. I could easily burn 1k/h at the general store, and at maximum focus I would do 1.2k at a bank. My max for Lumby was 1.1k in an hour, and 1.2k for Yanille bank... The difference is less than 10%
