hopefully this is not against rule but why can i upload a video? i have an account but when i try to upload, it says file type error.. so i waited 3 hours for nothin...any idea wats the problem? btw its gif. movie

Also, .gif isn't a movie - it's a picture. It can be an animated picture, but it isn't a movie file.

Some people are changed by being a moderator. I wouldn't be.

You cannot upload GIF files to youtube. read the FAQ on YouTube's website before asking this type of question again.

Use a program like Super to convert it from a .gif file to a WMV or whatever video file Youtube accepts. As others said, gif files are a picture file, not a video.
