Training Ranged, f2p, 50+

Featured Replies

I am f2p. I have a range lvl of 50. I have several million gp. I have 65 hp, 43 prayer, combat lvl 80. Where should I train? I am trying to get to 70 because of how useful it is in p2p.

Thanks.

Hill Giants, although the XP is slow. Lessers, but they are better for 70+.

I would try Mossies, Icies or Ankou (Agressive for 15 minutes).

oh yeah, i always forget about those stronghold monsters.

moss giants are probably good for your lvl. After you get over lvl 50 range then go with lessers/ankous.

Hill Giants for sure, with the big bones you can get 52 prayer which is also very nice in p2p.

what about flesh crawlers lvl 28 or 42, would they be any good?

Depends on what you use - if iron is your thing, then minotuars are quick and easy XP and they drop plenty of iron arrows. I got 5k XP in about 5 minutes there AFK'ing - who knows what dedication can get you in an hour. Not many other drops though... lessers aren't too bad, I suppose. I think there's a safespot for ankous as well. But I'm 55 ranged and I always train at the minotaurs \'

If you're low on arrows, minotaurs.

If you only want xp, flesh crawlers.

If you want good xp and good drops AND big bones, ice giants.

Overall, I'd recommend ice giants, but its your choice

i did minatours for 50-55. great arrow drops and the xp is quick. from 55-65 i did moss giants on crandor..xp is decent but the drops and prayer xp are what make this the spot to go.

I went from 55 - 60 on ice giants...pretty good xp and great for prayer.

i just want exp, as fast as possible. I can use any arrows, and I plan on gilded altaring a bunch of bones when I turn p2p again.

i would say mossies/deadly spiders/lessers =P~

Agreed on moss giants. I trained there solely when I was F2P, then went to fire giants P2P. Now i'm 75 ranged and F2P again and probably won't train it for a while. I wouldn't do lessers. It's usually very crowded, and the occasional rune med isn't as good as constant big bones in my opinion.

I think I figured it out. I am training on flesh crawlers, and I have already gained 3 levels today. It seems fast. When I hit 60, I think I'm going to go to hill giants or moss giants in the wilderness. I don't like the crowded places.
