There are supposed to be 'Trophy Bass & Swordfish' that can be caught for your 'Skills Room' (Construction). I have been fishing at Catherby for almost 4 days now and have still not caught this fish (bass). I'm beginning to wonder if they even exist and am i just wasting my time. but before I give up, I thought I might ask and see if anyone else has caught one and how long it took them?

I have a Large Swordfish. And a Crawling Hand. Too bad I dont have the construction level to put them to any good use.

Most people who catch them fish for months to get them.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Don't despair. You'll get one eventually if you're persistant.

I got a Slayer assignment for 150+ basilisk, can't remember actual amount but it was hugh. I went without my enchanted gem and left after over 100 kills but short of total, cause I had ran outta food. After I got back to bank and checked my gem I had 9 kills left. So I dropped my load, grabbed more food and headed back to kill my last 9. After I killed my 9, I decided to kill a few more, which is unusual for me. Needless to say, on my 3rd kill I got a Basilisk Head! =D>

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Moral of the story: It's entirely random, but persistance pays off.

I caught a large bass once, but didnt know what it was, so I cooked it, burned it, and dropped it :oops: .

I caught a big swordfish once. But I accidentally cooked it :(

I had 2 big swordfish after a 3-5k swordfish order when I worked for fishing company.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ranged Crave

I got a big swordfish a couple months ago. At 63 fishing, so they're pretty rare. Persistence is the word here.
