at school we use a program known as dreamweaver

these are actualy goverment recomended for cida course

He said free, not some program that costs $400.

Dreamweaver isn't even for animation, it's a website development program.

I have never used the program, so maybe it does.

The point still is you suggested a $400 program when somebody was asking for something for free.

At your school you probily have the Adobe Creative Suite, which contains Photoshop, ImageReady, Indesign, ect.

You probily used another program from the suite and thought it was dreamweaver.

Try GIMP and the animation add-on it takes a while to get used to the gimp, but when you do you can do some pretty cool stuff.

Best of all its FreeWare meaning its completely free unlike the other options people are giving.

[hide=Drops]

  • Dragon Axe x11
    Berserker Ring x9
    Warrior Ring x8

Dragon Boots x4 - all less then 30 kc
    Godsword Shard (bandos)
    Granite Maul x 3

and actualy it is a whole set of programs...

it does internet aswell...

BUT IT DOES DO ANIMATION!

Flash does animation, not dreamweaver. They are part of the Macromedia suite, not the "dreamweaver" suite.

Please don't sugest anything if you don't know what your talking about.

@ the op: Try "GIF Construction set". Just google it.

GIMP is open-source, not freeware.

The learning curve on GIMP is rather steep, especially since the UI is putrid.

I'm not too sure about free software, but if you're willing to pay abit, try getting either Jasc Animation Shop (v3 is best), or Adobe Imageready (Comes with Photoshop CS... or at least mine did).

Personally, i think the best/easiest Animation software to work with (if you're looking to produce .gif files) is Jasc Animation Shop, since the learning curve is quite shallow, and it has a beginner-friendly interface.

Although if you're really desperate for something free, then I'm sure you could google 'Free Animation Programs' but i don't know what would come up.
