  1. If you've scanned your computer thoroughly and you've removed the file/placed it in quarantine, then you'll be ok.
  2. Yep, i would also recommend you use d2hosting. Its only like ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã1.05 for me, suppose it depends which side of the pond you live on though doesn't it? heh. I haven't really encountered any other good hosters, but if i do i'll be sure to let you know :)
  3. Yes, indeed. Typically your internet should work on both no matter which you run the internet from, provided the router is working. Mac to Windows should also work.
  4. Ok this is nice and easy. Even if you haven't used DxDiag before. DxDiag stands for Direct X Diagnostic tool, you can use it to assess alot of aspects about your computer, and it should be already installed on your PC if you're using windows. To use it, go to 'Start>Run' then type in 'dxdiag' (no quotation marks), this will open up the DxDiag window. Wait for it to collect your system information, then click on the 'Display' tab along the tabs bar at the top. This shows you information about your Monitor, Graphics card, etc. This is what you're looking for: All (or almost everything) to do with your graphics card. There you can see my crappy Radeon9200 :P, although im sure yours is much better than mine :)
  5. Hmm, I've never liked fraps to be honest, but it's pretty easy to use. Have you tried to record with it yet? Because i cant work out what you're saying from your post. As for not being able to see the frame rate (i think it is) in the top right of your screen, there should be an option in fraps to enable/disable it, have a poke around see if you can find it - i haven't used fraps in ages so I'm not too sure where everything is...
  6. Chances are with even simple virus scanners you should be able to find and get rid of any foreign file, just make sure you keep updating them whenever you get a chance to, since new viruses are being poured out almost daily now. If you're willing to pay for anti-virus software, then get Norton or McAfee (the control freak :P), i think you can get free versions from their websites, but i reckon they're crippled. Although if you ask me, then just stick with free software, it's essentially the same thing.
  7. I'm not too sure about free software, but if you're willing to pay abit, try getting either Jasc Animation Shop (v3 is best), or Adobe Imageready (Comes with Photoshop CS... or at least mine did). Personally, i think the best/easiest Animation software to work with (if you're looking to produce .gif files) is Jasc Animation Shop, since the learning curve is quite shallow, and it has a beginner-friendly interface. Although if you're really desperate for something free, then I'm sure you could google 'Free Animation Programs' but i don't know what would come up.
  8. "Strangely Vanished" is abit of a vague term. Can you be more specific? If you mean that the Shortcut icon has been removed from your desktop, then try look in the 'Accessories' tab in the Programs menu. If it isn't there, then go to: 'My Computer>Local Disc (C:)>WINDOWS>Sys32 (Also sometimes called System32 depending on your windows version)'. You should be able to find the program lurking around in there called MSPaint, if not then i'm not too sure about what you'll have to do about it.
  9. I dont think its possible to map it. When you go there, the minimap thing is all black, all you can see is the dots for you, the gnomes and the demon. (Atleast think so)
  10. For f2p range training i would go for Karamja lesser demons. You fish food, then fight them untill your food runs out.
  11. I did the barbarian course untill level 40. Then brimhaven untill level 55 (where i am now). It only took about afew days.
  12. Sweet, i was looking for one of those too. Could have been abit less 'crude' though lol :P
  13. Yeah, if you're f2p i reckon that either the wilderness or crandor would be the best place.
  14. I think that the best place would be behind the Barbarian village. Only problem is its quite crowded usually.
  15. Tagging is where you are in non-multi wilderness and it is 2 v 1. Your opponents take turns to fight you.
