its more of guidelines for the basic shapes, if you just do what i did there, cept from a side view, you will be able to draw hands in prety much any positioin.

I think thats looks alright, just needs a little more detail thats all.

good job on the sholders, they will look better detailed and with fire. much better on the torso. general shape of his hands are good too. work on making the penguin the same way as you made the person, without abusing the circle tool.

the guy has insanly small feet, and the skirt is way too tight, have a loose skirt, with it peaked over the feet and draped in the middle, will look far better.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

you may also consider making the hood a seperate item, it may work better, but yeah, just a sugestion. also make the hood thinner.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

clean up the lines of the tree so its more like those of the rest of the scene.
