December 18, 200619 yr And actually, a decent chunk of money goes to charity, so these 'money grabbing producers' are clearly not all bad. Haha thats a nice thought. However giving 'some' of the money to charity is only going to improve votes/sales. People are more likely to vote for something if they think some of their money is going to charity. Now i'm only speculating here but I think despite giving some of the money to charity, they're still going to end up making more money than if they weren't donating any. Now i've thwarted you on many points about this show yet still you endeavour to believe x factor is a dream factory.
December 18, 200619 yr Author Now i've thwarted you on many points about this show yet still you endeavour to believe x factor is a dream factory. Actually no, you haven't 'thwarted me', you have told me your point of view, you actually have very little hard proof for any of your hypothesis. I don't believe X-Factor is a 'Dream Factory', I never implied that, I made a topic about a single contestant. i would hardly generalise this as thinking that it is a dream factory. I made a post listing people who had actually had a career after being on these shows, yes, and you must accept that people like Lemar, Girls Aloud, have been pretty successful, and I think that these shows are a great place to find real talent, as has been shown with Leona, but nonetheless, I do not see them as dream factories. I said before and I will say it again, perhaps if you looked at life with a little more optimism, you may find a little more sunshine comes into your life! 99/99 Fletching, 99/99 Cooking, 96/99 Strength
December 18, 200619 yr She is the first woman to reach the final of X-Factor anywhere in the world, consequently the first woman to win it. WRONG In the belgian edition, the finals went between Udo and The Cappaert Sisters. The last two obviously - due to being sisters - being girls. They didn't win though.
December 18, 200619 yr Found a link for that song. I think she's got a great voice and it really suited this song. But it's a shame- X-Factor winners never really get anywhere, do they? It would be great if someone did but it's like, they win and six weeks later no-one can remember their name. Shame, I liked the video.
