pansynator
I think there should be an option to "quick reply" to a post. It would save alot of time and for those with slowww computers it would make it also less frustrating. If you feel this is a good idea, write your name down. ---Do not ask God for an easy life. ____
How's about you search before you post next time.
Dragontotem
isnt "post reply" enough? :-s Or do you mean that there should be pre-made posts that you just click on one and voila, "your" post is done? Like "nice, i support" and "no, i dont like, so i dont support" and a small box next to them, where from you can select "add message", without having to bother typing on your own?`or did i misunderstand you? :D ">[4Th in Finland to achieve 99 mining. 3Rd of June 2007]Pixels make me horny. ____
Quick reply adds a cut-down version of the 'reply' page to the bottom of every thread page, so you don't have to click reply. instead you just go to the bottom of the page type in your message and hit submit. Dragontotem
Oh.. I dont find its necessary, but nice idea though, esp for slower computers ">[4Th in Finland to achieve 99 mining. 3Rd of June 2007]Pixels make me horny.

Beaumonde
I use Rune Hq so know what you mean but frankly I consider it a bad idea because mostly it just annoys me because with the post a reply button theres no use for it! darkblade986
I see what he's getting at. With slow computers or very slow internet connections, sometimes you just want to post a quick little message without any fancy enhancements (emoticons, fonts, ect). A quick reply feature doesn't show any of these, however they are still accessible if you know what the codes are and how to use them, such as the bold, italics, and underline brackets. don't worry, you are going to "hell" anyway. wanna race to see who gets there first?Officially reached 100 Combat at 1:33PM EST, June 14, 2007First Dragon Drop: Dragon Chain (Dust Devils) @ 10:48PM EST, July 14, 2008, lv113 combat

So they're loading extra data regardless of their intention to reply or not. Yay for wasting bandwidth.

pansynator
Perhaps this is because you've made 9,000 posts and you're ancient. Most likely that post was made 4 years ago. ____
Actually - the quick reply didn't exactly get mentioned much - only in the last year or so has it been close to being a "band-wagon" suggestion.
