It'll probably take some senior players to remember this. On RS1 way back you could go to the black knights fortress and gain access by wearing an iron chain mail and bronze medium helmet. Going upstairs, there was a room that had an altar in it and two spawns of black knights. Me and my bro would sit up there many hours watching the poorly drawn rune 2h's fly down on their heads as we used our strongest prayers (no protect prayers were used, just defence, stength, and attack prayers all on at once, makin for some nice hits :D ). Anyways, that room was changed I believe so thats its not very efficient to train that way. Me and bro have protect prayer now, and we both need to get from 62-70 attack. Is there any place like that magical RS1 place anymore in the runescape world, where we could just wear robes ect and train with big ole dragon 2 handed swords, and not care what damage was done cause we have protect :D? We are memebers, so please mention somewhere, we are SO eager for easy blood :P.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The reason we write this is cause 1. WE are not rich, aka no offers for prayer pots only 5k each or whatever, it would take WAY too many for us to ever afford, and 2. I don't like relying on pray pots, running out, and getting pwned.

the temple on ape atol is always good :) but you need fairly high att with them. I'd suggest 70 + as the monkeys in there are lvl 169 (correct me if i'm wrong) and have good def. its also multi so you and your bro could kill em together if you have 2 comps

Ya the temple at Ape Atoll is great. I second what micbar said, but watch out for their ability to block movement. You can't run through them so don't get surrounded!

Yeah we are always on at the same time (Heymrdj and The Coolness). Umm ape atoll sounds bad for a Lvl 72 and a lvl 77 to even try to stick around there...

or you could kill the tazzar monsters and when pray runs out do a mini game(thay save but when killing the monsters outside em if you die you WILL lose ur items) and die then pray comes back and you respown right out side the entrence of the mini game

Thats the part we are afraid of. I don't see us fight the 195 demon and fighting through that underground are and all that crap to even survive getting there.

Oh but i cuncor. I did it at lvl 70 combat. All you do is take 5 p pots in for safe messure. Run to the side of the arnea and mage it. If you don't get out onto the ledge then it will use melee. However if your out there it will only mage you and well, thats where the p pots come in. Trust me man get 30 antis each 15 p pots each (most of em for the tunnel) & 50 sharks ea will do you fine.

That didn't destroy my fear at all :P. I just looked at those lvl 167 temple guards and they are HUGE! How are we supposed to stay alive around them. One slipup and you look like you'd get a one hit.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Also what are prayer potions? I don't see prayer pot in the herblore list. Only thing I see is at like lvl 38 herblore getting you the Restore Prayer pot, which restores 33% of your prayer lvl. Is that right?

yea thats them, prayer pot for short or p pot for even shorter. To make sure i don't mess up i make sure i always have 10 prayer left at least then i pray again. And if you do die by accident, your bro will be there to pick up the mess. I did monkey maddness with my friend, he died, i picked up his stuff. Just do it with someone you trust.

Me and bro have decided to try it. I guess first job is getting a hold of thirty prayer pots. At 5-7k a piece that won't be cheap x_x

If you've done the quest to be able to use the Tai Bwo Wannai altar you could kill tribesmen round there - not too exciting I know, but...

A great place to 3 item & train is in level 38-42 Wilderness. There is an alter in level 38 Wilderness & Ice Warriors just a few levels north. I train there all the time & I NEVER get pked.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you don't like the risk, then deffenently use Ape Atoll & kill the Apes.
