daver Posted December 21, 2006 Share Posted December 21, 2006 Well I'm 88 Fletching. What would be the best to 99? I know the fletching guide says yew longs. I was thinking, I'm 72 smithing. I currently have a lot of addy bars. If i were to get a lot by the time I'm 75 smithing (addy arrowheads).. wouldn't that be the best way to level up my fletching to 99? Making addy arrows? Retired 2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks. Trade_With Posted December 21, 2006 Share Posted December 21, 2006 Yew longs would be much better. Buy 5k logs and strings. Make. Trade for supplies and 250k ish, profit as well as fast. Using the tip.it calc it says you need to make 775k addy arrows. Thats a lot of coal and addy... Feathers are easy to get. 5-10gp each Normal Logs: 50gp each Sells for 130-170gp each I think (not sure never sold them) Fletching that many normal logs will take a year! Hard to find buyers Im sure. If you did rune arrows instead of addy you could prolly sell better than addy...lol. -56k Strung Yew Longs- Buying yew logs and bowstring and then making and sell can make you a small profit but id suggest doing them like 5k to 10k of them at a time. Yew Log: 260-300ea depending on quantity Bowstring: 150-200ea depending on quantity Sells for 500-550ea----Many Buyers (You can alch them for 768gp each bow if you want, just buy nats in the mage guild/Mage arena in wildy for like 225ea.) -47k Strung Mage Longs- Same as Yew bows but mage logs cost alot more. Do these in 1k or 2k at at a time. Mage Log: 1k each usually Bowstring:150-200ea depending on quantity Sells for 1100-1250ea-----Some buyers mainly on RS Forums (You can also alch these but for 1536gp each bow, still buy nats at mage guild/Mage arena in wildy for like 225ea.) If it was me I would go with Yew longs b/c I cant do mage longs yet but when I get 85 Id switch to Mage Longs. You can start with mage longs.
