The strip is too simple, you need a background

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

and like GS said, less repetitive frames, remember- 3 is a magic number for a reason

I like the idea - a lot. I just think that it drags on a little too much. As Godslayer suggested, four panels would probably be enough.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Also, the simple white background isn't doing it for me. It would be far more attractive if there were backgrounds and if the characters were in different poses every once in a while :P

Yeah a background would make it better, he repeats "You buy Salmon, yes?" is the meant to be there? And make the non-shopkeeper guy face the shopkeeper so they look like they are talking to each other. Pretty good and funny idea though.
