This was near the begining of runescape that it happened so a lot of people may not know, please just post if you know, thanks :).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

(This is for an rs quiz :P (yes asking is allowed :))

as far back as i remember prayer has always been its own skill, and before rs2 it wasn't really looked apon as an important skill since it didn't do much aka the protect prayers

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

also the update archvies start jul 10 - 2002 there is nothing in the archvies that talk about it, so if it was an update or part of another skill, it had to before then

It was in the first few months of rs i believe, way before rs2.

 

 

 

I think i know but i'd really like to confirm it before i put myself out on a limb and lose the quiz :S

Wasn't there 2 sub-catagories for prayer? Good prayer and Evil prayer or something along those lines. I know there was, but that might not be what you're talking about.

ya i thaught i heard about good and bad prayer...hmm maybe it was magic..

I'm positive that there was both a good and evil magic and prayer. I vaguely remember it for the few weeks that I played during that time and I remember seeing it in many screen shots.

Yea, pretty sure it was good and evil prayer as well. But for a while there it did nothing. You could train it and it would raise your combat level, but there was no use for it. Most people left it at 1 to help them PK.

Yes, there's no arguing that there was a good and evil magic. I know that one for a fact. I'm not sure on Prayer though. Might've been a good and evil prayer, but it may have just been Prayer.. simple as that. I'd have to look through some old pictures to find it.
