i wanted to shade the scales in the armour, but it came out like steel scales, so looked in other works and saw it wasnt shaded, so left it like this.

Aren't the thumbs supposed to be pointing inwards .. and the legs look a bit wierd but the colour is good so far : except for the right arm which looks a little plainer than the left..

the light source is from the right, so the hands are supposed to be like that. and umm, put ur hands in front of u, when the inside of the hand is facing u. ur thumbs are in? if they r go see a doctor, if not, u saw what i draw.

Not all that bad as a fist try.

 

 

 

As you got already told the shading isn't realy working on the skin and is basicaly missing elsewhere.

 

 

 

The body position, for a first try, isn't the best choice.

 

 

 

First of all the overall look is deformed as the anatomy isn't correct, and as a standalone it isn't very expressive aswell.

 

 

 

You should maybe have gone for an object or a normal standing figure instead of this, focusing on the shading rather than the figure.

i'll reshade the gut for u, tho i must i reckon that u cant criticise the position of the figure before u see the scene and the angle i chose to put the viewer at.

i criticize the figure for showing wrong anatomy proportions, basicaly.

how about you actually do more than 1/20th of a sig before expecting a lot of comments on it. Honestly it looks like what it is.... not done. Shading is very much not done, you need a lot more of it. Its hard to know where the light is coming from when the background isn't done at all. Try adding more detail! escpecially to the guys. Sorry to be so harsh, but its a good start actually but do a little more work before expecting outstadning comments.

i'm actually atm working ona costum for a competition (yea cocky i know, trying to get into acomp before completing 1st work) so this one will be at slow motion..
