2 quick desins which is better?

They both lack time. I see no shading what so ever, nothing is detailed enough.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You could use this to improve, and start with the person. Use shading tutorials (at the FAQ, here in the Gallery) and just focus alot on one thing.

I said they were very quick bases, and no way near the final product, and was asking for which one to take as the base, for the thing to spend ages on.

Train that. Just watch other people's work. I recommend you to check pjb's, eckered's and terley's pixels.

I like the first one better but it have not legs and is a little messy, remeber to zoom in at least to 2x when you draw. The yellow spots in the second one ruin it, what are they susposed tobe? Also stars are white not yellow, here is a example .
