I just got assigned 169 blue drags. Can I kill baby blue drags instead?

Yup, kill the Babies. I killed 50 or so mommas before I realized that I could kill the babies.

Yes, you can kill the babies.

But don't skip these! It's a great opportunity to range them, or maybe melee (less profitable). But you can get some good cash off of 'em.

I've already killed about 80 baby blue drags. Um how are they profitable? They just drop the baby drag bones

Oh. Do you think I could handle those? I'm only 75 combat and my range is only 42. Would I need to pot up if I was to melee them?

I'd reccomend you not melee them at that level. But you could range them, it'd take awhile seeing as you have 42 Ranged. But you could do it. If you try it and it doesn't work out, go back to Baby Blues.

EDIT: One more question. Should I use iron knives and an anti-d shield? Or just trust the safespot and use a bow.

Always use a safespot whilst Ranging.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And offtopic: are you using Vanaka as your Slayer Master? Or Chaeldar?

The one in Lost City. I think it's Chaeldar :-s

Although you can use Chaeldar - the one you are now - I'd suggest using Vanaka, in the Edgeville Dungeon. I'm level 86 and still use him. He gives tasks that aren't too insanely hard, but aren't easy either.

Get rid of the boots, and try to get snakeskin boots instead. Those Black Boots, or any metal boots, actually lower your range attack.
