Yep! I love the game so much. I've had it for 3 days and I currently have over 15 hours of play time. Right now I'm in the Tomb of Raithwall and I can't get past Belias, the Gigas. The guys I usually play are only level 20-22 to I suppose I should train some more before I keep trying to kill him :P Also some Hi-potions could help :-s

i took out belias at level 19 using Ashe, Fran, and Vaan, just use Mist Quickenings when he is about to die so he diesnt use firaja and own you

If you notice the meter dropping, focus on the mimics

Keep the charge meter up by killing the mimics. I never let the charge go below 60% so I'm not sure what happens when the lights go out but I can just about imagine it's not pretty ;)

Trust me, if it hits 0, enemies twice as strong will fight you, andit becomes pretty dark in there

I love this game, Probably one of the best FF's yet! The battle system (even though it was taken from FFVI) is extreamly useful, and alot more realistic then the old system. Not to mention the plot line is probably one of the most Innovative RPG story lines iv'e ever seen.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tip Deloriagod: Belis is really not that hard, just have your characters gambit so that they cast ice attacks, and good healing gambits. Also quickenings work well. Id make sure that you try and train well or get good armor before fighting Him though, as after the battle you cant go back to the city and your forced into a place that has only one merchant, and billions of guys you have to fight.

Final Fantasy XII (12 for those of you who don't know your basic roman numerals). More easily typed as FFXII.

I'm pretty far into the game, about 35 hours of gameplay for me.

I use Vaan, Basch, and Ashe who are all about level 36, and i've done every hunt available to me, except for one Flan [the rank V] and the Carrot [rank VII]

After using many Hi-potions and a lot of swearing, I killed Belias.. :

Arrgh! I can't get past Vossler now.. I do just fine until he's almost dead. Then he uses protect or whatever so I can't hit above 20 and he suddenly starts getting the 5 hit thing going and destroys every single on of my characters I was really hoping this game wasn't going to piss me off this much...

LOL there are some bosses that will just piss you off (Ill hint: Status effects). Vossler was the main boss I was talking about that you should train for. I would suggest killing the others that are with him (Are there? i cant remember, its been awhile). Anyways, what id suggest is that you keep hitting hard till he casts his protect/shell, then hit him with a quickening chain, this should ignore the defense and cause alot of damage.

Basch: Warrior

 

 

 

Fran: Black Mage

 

 

 

Penelo: White Mage

 

 

 

Ashe: Red Mage (As in she is used for just about anything)

 

 

 

And errr the other guy (Can never remember him): Thief (Sky pirate=thief?)

No, but I've played Tactics and Tactics Advanced. Besides the world names(Ivalice) and Jagds, are their any recurring themes in XII?

Im just before that part too. If you go back to the mountain part, they sell Ice Shields. I would suggest getting these for any characters that use shields, because they half Ice damage. Also for those that dont use shields, look for equipment that helps protect from ice, and perhaps even use shell along with regan just before entering the battle.

Haha! I found a great way to destroy Vossler and take out all my frustration. I went and trained some and then was given the option to train the summon for Belias. Let's just say he pretty much owned Vossler. \
