70-99 Fishing: Shilo or Monks?

Featured Replies

Which would be faster exp? I heard that monks are nearly as fast as trout/salmon, but I have yet to try it out. I'm not really crazy about fishing, but I'm planning on getting it to 99 after I finish attack. Also, monks would be much better cooking exp than salmon/trout, but it's really the fishing exp that I'm after.

I know one of my friends he is going for 99 (98 right now) and he fishes trouts and ive fished them alot and they're great. But I havent done the quest to get to monk fish yet so I really dont know how they're

They fish about a lot faster than sharks, and are close to the bank. Heal 16, go for about 300 each, but it's hard to find buyers I think.

For speed I personally believe fly fishing is best. Most of the other people I've met at Shilo agree (of course they would lol) and there have been a coupe there I've met in-game who got 99 while I was there.

Then again, the trout and salmon are a bit annoying to have. Too many to cook and don't sell for that much.

So if want something actually profitable, go with monks.

Rainbow fish are extremely slow to catch though. They may give more exp than salmon but they're just too slow.

It has taken quite a bit but I find it easy since you have time to look at forums, talk to freinds, draw, so I don't even feel like I'm runescaping.

Monks fish faster than lobbies IMO, better training food and better cooking exp...

Monks get my vote... \'

Monks, even if they are slightly (very minimal difference) slower than fly fishing it takes a lot less time to cook/sell.
