I'm for dark tones lol. Nice setting however, good work :)

border and text sucks and it should be darker, nice job though. "blending options set to "lighten".

I realize that this was for a class and maybe you have limits or it wasnt supposed to be scary, but when people say somethings what it is not it kinda annoys me.

Forensic Specialist, and yea I teach and take courses occasionally...While I have worked with Photoshop for years I have only received training related to law enforcement application so i never really worked with some of the basic tools and functions and decided I should finally get into that along with learning about the new functions for CS.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Thanks for the suggestions, the text yea i know its blah... did not really feel like working on it as the picture was the main thing the text was just goofing around... its not a gradient overlay on the text layer, its just a gradient on the text outline with a text layer under it that is zoom distorted.

Umm, please quote me where I "say somethings what it is not" and pardon me for annoying you, I suggest you dont look at potential posts that may annoy you, heck you for that matter be careful stepping out of bed in the morning life may annoy you.

As I already stated I agree on the text just did not feel like messing with it and it was not part of the project... The border, its just a plain border but i dont see anything wrong with it... not sure what you mean by blending options set to "lighten"... If you are referring to the setting for border and text I can tell you that i have already tried various layering options and did not like any of them...

Thanks for the comments, about the blood... it was red to start with, but i changed the color to orange due to the blood and gore rule... I was thinking that it could still get the idea across without offending anyone or breaking the rules ;)
