January 2, 200719 yr I say we need a limit on Pictures in a post. 10max in all fourms. Except in Blogscape and Rate This where it is increased to 20. Player made guides would have a Text to picture ratio. Denizen of Darkness| PSN= sworddude198
January 2, 200719 yr I cannot speak for any other type of topics in the forum, but I know from experience on another forum that a 10 pic limit really messes up a player made guide, such as for a quest. Just my two cents. it's a lot easier to get over yourself when you look at intelligence the same way you look at beauty, or height, or eye color: being smart is easy, but being good is hard ... being smart is handed to you, being good is handed to *nobody*.
January 2, 200719 yr Can you give an example (link) of too many pics? Otherwise I think this would restrict many, including those that post entire galleries of art in Gallery. :) Pixel sigs by me.Pixel Art
January 2, 200719 yr I've seen a lot of spammy pictures in Off-Topic. I think that if we were to make a restriction like this, we should take a different approach. Such as, maybe disallow people to post just a picture (unless of course it's like a level-up picture or somesthing). The kinds of pictures I'm referring to is this seemingly never-ending joke with those weird owl pictures and the like. Or, especially in the Off-Topic forums, people will post a picture that they think is funny that barely relates to the topic in question. But since they don't provide a description, many people don't draw the connection between the picture and the topic, and therefore think of it as pure spam. All and all, it really just bugs me when people a post a "funny" picture with no other comment :-k - 99 fletching | 99 thieving | 99 construction | 99 herblore | 99 smithing | 99 woodcutting - - 99 runecrafting - 99 prayer - 125 combat - 95 farming - - Blog - DeviantART - Book Reviews & Blog
January 2, 200719 yr Psh: almost every picture i've seen posted in OT is related to the topic / sub topic of the thread it ends up in. When you live in OT - you pick up on such things :P

Only way to describe it is: Horizontal scroll bar was extremely small and sometimes applied to Vertical Scroll bar. Oh and I forgot about the gallery. Denizen of Darkness| PSN= sworddude198
January 2, 200719 yr I disagree, just punish people who spam and they won't continue = easy. Where the bloody hell are you?

When you live in OT - you pick up on such things :P [img=http://www.orlyowl.com/orly.jpg] obviously a joke... i never post these kinds of pics in threads. That kind of picture I will sometimes post, but I usually add some kind of after-thought to them. They're never that big as well. Typically they're just some cute comment with an abstractly-relating picture that fits the topic/post perfectly. For example, in the Hidden Update thread, I posted this picture once when someone posted something that was already put in the checklist. It was just something cute, relevant, and got along the message. I'm pretty sure I also posted what they had and a quote to the list that showed it was already down... don't worry, you are going to "hell" anyway. wanna race to see who gets there first?Officially reached 100 Combat at 1:33PM EST, June 14, 2007First Dragon Drop: Dragon Chain (Dust Devils) @ 10:48PM EST, July 14, 2008, lv113 combat
