Harrington
Tailoring HELP ME FILL IN THE BLANKS! AND THE BONUS IDEAS! Runescape had done a great job providing various types of clothing for your characting, giving you feeling of being at least a little different than all the other characters around you. Everyone wants to look great! So how about a new skill where you can tailor your own clothes? These clothes wouldn't give you any combat stats' and are almost purely to give your character a new stylish look. Some items may have additional properties i.e. a fisherman hat gives a slight reduction in cost when buying bait or feathers or perhaps wearing a lumberjack outfit would increase the likelyhood of a nest drop whilst woodcutting? Here's a list of what clothes would be made a which levels. Please suggest stuff to add to the list. When suggesting: ================ 1. Item Name 2. Level to tailor 3. Materials needed 4. Item bonus if any Possible Materials Required =========================== 1. Needles 2. Thread 3. Fur 4. Silk 5. Flax - linen (from farming skill) 6. Cotton (from farming skill) 7. Leather 8. Wool 9. spikerkid
They could just add it to crafting but with a tailoring section. Seperate skill would be pointless really. Quit RuneScape :)

But we do really need more skills as it is and that would make crafing more easier Tif 360 MGC Leaderboard
Harrington
I think with a little more content it would more than justify a new skill as opposed to an addon (like summoning for example) I believe most RS players are more excited about an entirely new skill as opposed to a simply add on. Stihl
Wasn't tailoring intended to be in RSC? If so, I wouldn't be shocked to see it revived. Is there a reason why blue and black wizard armor isn't in there? Monk robes, priest robes? Desert robes? Maybe the special cloth used in construction? Yeah, i just wanted to introduce new items rather than stuff that people can buy elsewhere. However, it's something that could always be added later to pad out the skill a little. nine naked men
Cool idea, but I reckon the Vamp outfit should be part of a new Quest and then given to you as a new form of transport or something like that. You could turn into a bat and fly to places, like an the Spirit Trees or Gnome Gliders? I reckon that would be SO cool. sleep like dead men wake up like dead men

How can referring to a clothing style possibly be considered racist? If that's the rule... then better get rid of whiteberries then eh? Or how about complaining about black dragonhide or maybe ban the boxing room incase it insults countries where it's banned, or even get rid of the kings and queens in case our socialist players start shouting "oooo, racist man, pure racism." Seriously Lotus... consider using the "preview" feature before posting, so that you can have time to consider your replies before you embarass yourself again.
